solar powered lights? This incredible art installation, on show for limited time, is the highlight of what
promises to be an incredible journey through the Red Centre, beginning in Alice Springs.
You will also have the chance to watch the sun set over Uluru before a Sounds of Silence dinner under the
stars; take a guided base walk around Uluru; witness the iconic red rock bathed in the glow of a fiery sunrise;
journey into the breathtaking Kings Canyon; and enjoy an Alice Springs town tour.

This afternoon be met by your Driver-Guide,
then enjoy a short city tour of Alice Springs
including Anzac Hill and the Telegraph
Station. This evening, enjoy a Welcome
Dinner with your fellow travellers.

Day 2. Alice Springs, West MacDonnell
Ranges, Kings Canyon.
Travel through the West MacDonnell Ranges
to Simpsons Gap. Visit Standley Chasm and
Ormiston Gorge and later travel the iconic
‘Mereenie Loop’ road to Kings Canyon
Resort, in the heart of Watarrka National Park,
where you will stay in a Deluxe Spa Room.
Two Night Stay: Kings Canyon Resort. BLD
Day 3. Kings Canyon, Watarrka National Park.
Today, embark on the popular
6-kilometre Kings Canyon Rim Walk which
can be challenging but offers breathtaking
views. Later, enjoy lunch at Kings Creek
Station and perhaps try one of their famous
‘Camel Burgers’.

Day 4. Kings Canyon, Uluru-Kata Tjuta
National Park, Sounds of Silence.
This morning, you travel to Kata Tjuta
(the Olgas). Enjoy panoramic views of the
domes and walk into Walpa Gorge. Tonight,
be treated to an evening of magic under
the sparkling outback sky at the Sounds of
Silence Dinner beginning with sunset drinks
on a viewing platform overlooking UluruKata Tjuta National Park followed by an
unforgettable dining experience.
Two Night Stay: Ayers Rock Resort,
Sails In The Desert.

Day 5. Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park,
Field Of Light.
Rise early to watch the colours of dawn
light up Uluru. Perhaps take the guided Mala
Walk or Kuniya Walk along the base of the
rock, and learn about traditional Anangu
culture. This evening, be thrilled by the
acclaimed Field of Light, which has delighted
visitors since April 2016. With more than
50,000 solar powered stems, covering the
area of seven football fields, the exhibition
is aptly named Tili Wiru Tjuta Nyakutjaku or
‘looking at lots of beautiful lights’. Enjoy the
illumination with canapés and sparkling wine
on a viewing platform before heading back
to your hotel for a delicious dinner. BLD
Day 6. Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park,
Alice Springs.
After breakfast, travel via the Lasseter
Highway and Stuart Highway back to Alice
Springs and take a tour of the Royal Flying
Doctor Service Base. Tonight, enjoy a
Farewell Dinner.
Stay: Chifley Alice Springs Resort. BLD
Day 7. Depart Alice Springs.
After breakfast, enjoy a morning at leisure
before transferring to the airport for your
onward flight.
