Note: The banner images may be changing periodically. Search Courses by Filters : By selecting specific value(s) of Technology, Certification or Specialization from the list of corresponding boxes and clicking on “Search” Button March 2014 Page 6 “Cisco Learning Locator” Tool is publicly available and does not require login. User can perform the search either by logging in as CCO user OR without having to log in to the tool. If the user has already logged into Cisco.Com and navigates the Cisco Learning Locator, the logged in status of the user shall continue as is. Course Listing Page Search results either by entering the keywords or by applying the filters etc., results in listing of courses that match the criteria. In the following example, user is searching for “CCNA Data Center” as keyword. System supports search for keywords by identifying them within the Title, Description or to any of the associated course metadata. Course(s) with higher level of relevancy get listed at the top. Tool also displays the count of courses that met the search criteria. March 2014 Page 7 Course Details Page Course Details : Once user clicks on a particular course or the count of offerings displayed, tool navigates the user to the “Course Details Page”. Top section of the page is divided into Course Description and Course Summary Information. Summary Section has details such as Career Certifications, Technology, Delivery and Duration. Course Description lists Course Prerequisites, Course Content Description Text, Course Objectives, Course Outline and Who Should Attend details. March 2014 Page 8 Offering Listing (List View): Bottom Section of the Page lists individual course offerings for the select course. These are the course offerings offered by different Learning Partners across the Globe in multiple geographical locations, starting on different dates and also in different languages. These offerings are primarily divided into two types – Instructor-Led Trainings and Virtual Class Offerings. User can toggle between the List view and the Map view of the Offering Listing. March 2014 Page 9 Offering Listing (Map View): User can toggle between the List View and the Map View of the Course Offerings. Map view displays the Google Map location of the course offering. This derived based off of address provided by the Learning Partner at the time of scheduling the offerings thru Cisco’s Learning Partner Management System (LPMS). March 2014 Page 10 Filters : Filters are available by clicking on the collapsed filter-bar. Upon clicking the filter panel expands to display the available set of options. Filters can be applied to narrow down the list of Offerings that meet the criteria and preferences of the users. NOTE: Offerings listed on this page are pre-filtered by the specific Geography from where the tool is being accessed. In case of Instructor Led Trainings (ILT), the Country and State geography of the user is determined based off of the IP location. In case of Virtual Class, the Country of the user is determined. Following section of the page depicts the filter options and how to modify/change these preset or selected filters. Enrollment Green “Enroll” button [ ] provided against each Course Offering navigates the user to the individual Learning Partner site where the actual registration of an individual for that course offering can be made.
