North Beach CERT – Clint
- Next EP Cooking Series resumes in Oct. -May change to Ocean Shores
- Accommodation CERT class March 1,2 was postponed due to scheduling conflict

CERT Train the Trainer and Program Manager classes next week
GHCH-Hannah from GHCH -CMS has adopted 2012 code to accept Emergency Preparedness and should
update all protocols. April 12 Training for adapting the hospital to increase capacity SURGE during large influx
of patients.
GHCPHSS – Dan- Thurston and Lewis counties opening up MRC to us for training
Noted: CPR class- Tammy Fairley to coordinate with other local area instructors, including all County CERT
and other BLS instructors to donate time to teach and -Suggest this be a fund raiser for CERT asking for a
donation and intend to invite all the Public. Tammy to coordinate with Chuck Wallace for Audit approval
Heather- (Written report from Tammy as Heather was not in attendance)-Still working on CERT Teamwork
Module as stand alone in April- Still no dates for Tri Cities and accommodations training - ICS forms update to
match FEMA so not to duplicate-NIMMS update how to work interagency-These are ICS Forms
208,204,206,207,210,2134,214 that are from NIMS and want to use similar format for CERT-James Nelson and
Thom Wescott taking Train the Trainer class this month.
GHT-Grays Harbor Transit-Gary-Trying to get back on the Council so we have access for disaster
transportation. Proposing having a similar facility to put a vertical evacuation site like in Ocosta - Backup EOC
Center integrated. Contracts in place but need to coordinate how to allocate vehicles for any call up for mass
transit support and transfers during a disaster.
Ocean Shores CERT- Chris-Feb 23 Radio Spot with Chuck- Rapid Needs Assessment was well attended
By CERT Teams. Chocolate Festival was well attended. Grant opportunity approx. will be $2000- March 25
Training Expo had 5 from OS CERT. Get radio spot info to Tammy, so she can promote.
James Nelson-Going to Train the Trainer
Chehalis Tribe- Cal-Sent 2 to the Rapid Needs Assessment-Working with Enterprise Services to make sure that
we have alignment with both Thurston and Grays Harbor.
Will be attending Atlanta Summit Meeting- Working on Mutual Aid memo between Public Health and Tribes Region 3 needs updating. Hoping for MOU for entire State. Grant monies for temp shelters-always come up ideas
and see what funding we can get from grants.
Red Cross- Michaelle and Bob- 5 County Chapter. Working on lists of shelters for Lewis and GH Counties
Updating cots and blankets in trailer. We have an all-volunteer staff in GH. New Director /Program Manager
named Alexis. Will be more from her later in the year.
Training on shelters in place. Also have sanitation kits in place in the trailer. Can take place to place
Trying to get access to get back to using church as shelters and get cross trained.
Where are we with getting the message out there to recruit the churches in our areas?
Alexis and Adam working on better relationship improvement. Clint Davis asked what about cross training CERT
selected members to get Red Cross qualified? Need a place in Westport for shelters-Chuck to check with Senior
Center.

Chuck Report-Waiting for new Regional FEMA for Region 3
Military Haz Mat exercise and where to transport. Two locations- Dow Chemical(old) and move patients
Aberdeen will also have an exercise-maybe train derailment- Hazmat and Transport. Oct. TBA
Want to know who will participate - All agencies invitedWorking on a warning Plan- Tsunami and all hazards plan - Evacuation Plan needs two types of plans
Looking at driving time and walking time-Plan needed with estimates for transit time.
Coordinate transportation with County EOC- GHT as well as any other school buses
March 25 Ocosta to demonstrate vertical evacuation tower-Open to the Public
April 15th Tsunami Awareness- GHCC exact time TBD from Regional Authority may be 13-15th CERT may be
invited
AHAB-Looking at Seabrook and Pacific Beach as location TBD-One going in Ocean Shores and one in Aberdeen
Tested in Seabrook to see gaps. High ground near North Part of site near that area

EOC/ECC Training- Jan 26th March 25th -July 27th- September 28th and November 30th. 10:00 to noon
CERT invited to Next week 16th 10- noon for 25May invited- Oct will be final with Military
Learn to use WEB EOC to know how to report in remote-Buoy Program Important to give early warning.
