Thirst for knowledge However surprising it may sound, there are a lot of people who hardly ever drink water or only in small quantities. Most of those concerned do not even realise this. Thanks to the adaptability of the human body, this state of thirst can be maintained for years, although it is not sensed as such. The lack of mobile water, occurring on the level of cells, appears in various forms, which are generally registered as illnesses. It is no exaggeration to state that a significant proportion of diseases treated by doctors are merely the expression of the fundamental thirst of our cells1. This thirst can only be quenched with drinking water and not with food products or drinks containing water. It is high time to review the role of water in the preservation of our health. The opinion generally accepted today is rooted in an outdated scientific view, which states that water is no more than the collection of H2O molecules. For most experts, calcium found in eggshell or the bones, i.e. integrated in the living organism, is identical with the chemical element dissolved in water, responsible for the formation of scale. Based on the same thoughts, they do not differentiate water found in milk, wine, fruit juices, beverages and “water” that we receive from rain, springs or drinking water pipelines. When they estimate the water demand of the human body, they add up water taken with food and the water one drinks. This is as incorrect as if a pupil tried to add up apples and pears. Despite the fact that fruit juices, wine, milk, sugary beverages, coffee and tea all consist mainly of water, the H2O they contain is not drinking water. Our body will process it as food. The water contained in various beverages cannot substitute drinking water. One should drink at least 2.5 or rather 3.5 pints of water (one thirtieth of the body weight) daily but, if possible, not during meals: half an hour before and after eating, as well as any other time during the day. Soft drinks can be substituted with clear water. The beneficial effects may sometimes occur within a few hours but certainly within two days. In case of people who have been drinking very little water for years, the effects will be truly remarkable. The water treatment will be ineffective only in case of a very few people. Following the 2 or 3-week-long treatment, water consumption can be reduced to approximately 2.5 pints of water a day. Drinking the proper amount of water is no universal medicine but it can prevent a lot of diseases and, in case of “thirsting”2 people, it can also heal. Increased water consumption makes the electrolyte traffic of the body more intensive so it is important to make sure that appropriate quantities of organic minerals are consumed by consuming more fruits and vegetables. 1 It is worth reading F. Batmanhelidj’s book titled “Your Body’s Many Cries for Water”, published by Madala-Véda. Although the author does not know Vincent bio-electronics, he reaches the same conclusions following a completely different path. 2 Consuming 2.5 pints of fluids containing water (milk, fruit juices, wine, beer or beverages with sugar or sweeteners, etc.), if one does not drink enough water as well, the body will slowly reach the state of chronic thirst, without any sensation of actual thirst. The consequences will occur slowly but unavoidably. The first signs include sleeplessness, chronic tiredness, constipation or migraine. More serious symptoms appear later, such as joint pains, high blood pressure, disorders of circulation and balance, gastric ulcer or cardiac weakness. Everybody’s reaction to chronic thirst is different. Naturally, the above-mentioned problems may have other causes. Thirst will only worsen the symptoms. However, the opposite may also apply: in case of a disease, a well-administered water treatment often results in remarkable improvement. © ivoviz.hu 1/2 As soon as we have convinced ourselves about the importance of drinking water and our water consumption significantly increases, it is time to pay attention to the quality of drinking water. Drinking the appropriate amount of water can lead to quite favourable results even with city/pipelined water. In the long run, however, it is advisable to be more careful about the quality of the water we drink, due none other than the increased consumption. What is it that distinguishes city water from vitalising water? – Too high mineral content; higher nitrate content; sometimes the too high pH value; decontamination with chlorine, which decreases electron activity. The latter constitutes the most significant danger to health. Water treated with chlorine, ozone or ultra-violet rays consumed in larger quantities (2.5 pints per person per day) can lead to quite serious health damages in the long run. If possible, do not fill your glass from the tap but from a glass jug. The family should have several open, wide-mouthed water jugs, in which the city water can rest for several hours in the daylight. Exposed to sunlight, chlorine is reduced to harmless chloride ions. After leaving the water rest in the daylight for 2-3 hours, it can then be stored in the fridge, filled into glass bottles. Although this frees water from chlorine, its electron activity remains low. In fact, it is not chlorine but the low electron activity of chlorine that is harmful to your health so it must be improved. Higher electron activity can be achieved by adding substances of reductive chemical effect. In this case, the most evident choice is ascorbic acid or vitamin C found in lemon juice. Therefore, you should add 1-2 teaspoonful of fresh lemon juice to each litre of the rested water but without sugar or sweeteners. With this simple method, you have mostly neutralised the harmful effects of chlorination3. If you can spare a smaller amount for home water treatment, it is very effective to install a separate tap in the flat that only provides water for drinking and cooking4. Water from this tap is not used for any other purposes. An active carbon filter placed before the tap removes chlorine and other possible contaminants (carbohydrates, remnants of pesticides, detergents and medicine), which may even be found in drinking water of the legally guaranteed quality. 3 The rH2 value of water treated this way will be 2-3 units lower than water treated with chlorine, which is the measurable sign of very significant improvement. 4 This water can also be used for babies” bathing. © ivoviz.hu 2/2
