WELCOME
Dear participant,
We are looking forward to meeting you at the "LOVED GREEN WORLD"
that will take place in Ceuta Spain from 10th to 18th of July 2016.
In this Info-pack we have tried to collect all the most important facts
regarding the practicalities. Please read it carefully and don’t hesitate to
ask [email protected] if you have any further questions!
Remember that assistance in all of the activities is mandatory, and
active participation is expected in all of the proposed activities during
the course.
The specific objectives are:
-
To promote the young people participation in European activities.
To promote intercultural relations among participants.
To know the gastronomy of the different countries
To develop social integration of young people with fewer
opportunities.
To promote values as tolerance and respect to different cultures.
To know the culture of ecological 3R: recycle, reuse and reduce.
To know points of the Network European Natura 2000.
To encourage entrepreneurship through recycling.
To Know the biodiversity of Ceuta.
METHODOLOGY
The working methodology is based on the objectives of the meeting; the
idea is to apply a participative, dynamic methodology which promotes
the active integration of all participants.

For that reason, we will develop the following working methodology:
1. Working groups, with the aim of reflecting about youth and
social exclusion, working methodologies and tools for the
development of inclusion projects in the frame of the Erasmus+
programme.
2. Internal forum of experiences with the projects presentation.
The organisations from the different countries will talk about
their projects using the different materials and resources they
may need (brochures, leaflets, videos, Power Point/Prezi
presentations, over-head projections, etc.) and they will
exchange experiences with the participating

Situated beside a bay, the fortified city of Ceuta has watched over the strait of
Gibraltar since long ago.
The walled area presides over the old quarter of this Cosmopolitan
Mediterranean city. Since ancient times, Ceuta's strategic location has
encouraged the settlement of different civilizations. Phoenicians, Greeks,
Carthaginians, Romans, Visigoths and, later, Arabs and Portuguese occupied this
place for commercial or military ends.
Finally, by its own will, it came to form part of the Spanish crown. The nerve
centre of this multicultural city is the Plaza de Nuestra Señora de África,
situated right in the old town, where there is a monument to those who died in
the African War (1859-60). Around the square stand the Sanctuary of Nuestra
Señora de África, in which the image of the patron saint and permanent mayor of
the city is venerated, the Cathedral, on the site of an old Muslim mosque, the
City Hall and the Comandancia General military headquarters. Other interesting
religious monuments are the church of San Ildefonso, inside which you will find
the image of Cristo de Medinaceli, and the hermitage of Nuestra Señora del
Valle.
This is the oldest Christian church in the city, where Juan I of Portugal knighted
his sons. The Cristo de los Afligidos Bridge gives access to the old Royal Walls
and the San Felipe Ditch, the largest military construction in Ceuta which was
an impregnable fortress for centuries. It is one of Ceuta's most characteristic
monuments built over the centuries by the various inhabitants of this land.
Ceuta has various viewpoints, like those of Isabel II and Monte Hacho, where
you can get an excellent panoramic view of the harbor and Ceuta Bay.
On this hill you can visit the Desnarigado Castle-Museum, containing a
valuable collection of military objects. Here, too, is the Hermitage of San
Antonio, a 16th-century building which at one time was the residence of the
bishop. The city's cultural offer invites you to get to know the city's 2,500-year
past, in the Museum of Ceuta, as well as its military history, in its museums of
the Legion and the Regular Army. In Ceuta Bay you will find the
Mediterranean Maritime Park, one of the symbols of the modern city. This is
an original complex of gardens, waterfalls surrounded by palm trees and
artificial lakes designed by the Canary Island architect César Manrique.

Ceuta also has many beaches and coves where visitors can enjoy the area's
unbeatable climate and some lovely views of the Peninsula on the other side of
the Strait. Water sports and exceptional marine depths are other attractions on
this coast.
Ceuta's cuisine reflects the cultural mixture of its inhabitants and its situation as
a coastal city. Excellent quality fish and shellfish are cooked in Andalusian style
in seafood stews, as well as fried and marinated. Meat is dressed with spices in
more of a Moroccan style. In Ceuta you can find Spanish-style restaurants and
Moroccan ones, as well as others offering all kinds of dishes. There is a varied
selection of accommodation available in Ceuta. In the central Plaza de Nuestra
Señora de África is the Parador “Hotel La Muralla”. This is a modern building
adjoining the Royal Walls, a setting enabling you to enjoy unbeatable views of
the sea and the historic quarter.

To make it easier for all participants traveling to Ceuta, the organization has
programmed a meeting point at the port in Algeciras, on Sunday 10th, at 17:00,
to take de boat. There will be one person who is going to collect the group. His
name is Ibrahim.

The ticket of ship cost 59€ go and back by person.
Normally I buy all the tickets boat as a group and the tickets cost 44€ go and
back by person.
For ease we recommend we buying the boat tickets discounting of your overall
budget per person and day meeting in the port of Algeciras July 10 Ibrahim carry
on the tickets boat for us.
The ship's departure will be early in the morning on 18 of July because we don´t
know how will be the the sea, so don´t book flights or buses before five in the
afternoon.

It is very important that your ID CARD and Passport has a valid date in order
to pass from Algeciras to Ceuta and back. Expired documents will not be
accepted, we do not have to pass a Border but we have to pass Customs
MOROCO.
 We would like to remind you that Ceuta is border with Morocco and
Morocco is not an EU country. That is why we kindly advise you to
check the documents required in case you want to cross the border.

Please, take into account that Spanish National Agency will not take
any responsibilities about incidents that may happen in
Morocco. Participants assume all responsibilities by themselves
when crossing the border.

LOVED GREEN WORLD
The Asociación Cultural Arte Brasilera Ceuta wish to invite you to join the
project “LOVED GREEN WORLD“, under the Erasmus + Programme.
Ceuta is a small city of Spain located in North of África border with Marroco.
The specific objectives are:

 Numbers of participants: 5 participants and 1 leader, the ages of
participants will be between 18- 25 years.

The countries that are going to participate in this Exchange and its ravel costs
are as follows:
- BULGARIA – 270€ - 44 € (boat) = 226 € per person.
- ITALY – 170 € - 44 € (boat) = 126 € per person.
- LATVIA – 400 € - 44 € (boat) = 356 € per person.

If you want us to buy boat tickets please confirm.
Important: the money back will not take place until we have all
tikects invoices.
Shopping bills you to realize online banking must be accompanied by
