Transfer is a catch-all term for
processes of transmitting images from
one surface to another, whether by
rubbing, tracing, pressing, or any other
manual technique. Find an artwork
created by transferring an image. Print
or sketch it in your sketchbook.Write
down how the transfer was made.
Ex. An inkjet photo is
rubbed onto packing tape.
The back of the paper is
dampened with water,
then the paper is carefully
rubbed off. The ink stays
on the tape.
