We’re going to learn about Winter Holidays.
Dear K5 Families,
What a fun week we’ve had learning about winter
holidays. We’ve learned about the importance of light in
Hannakha. We created our own menorahs too!
Next week we’ll continue learning about winter
holidays. We’ll focus on needs vs wants and talk about the
spirit of giving during the holiday season. We’re looking
forward to celebrating the holidays together and even have
a few surprises up our sleeves.
Our classroom holiday celebration will be Friday,
December 16th at 12:20pm. We welcome all that are able to
join us for the fun. Students may wear festive attire to
school on this day to show their spirit.
Have a wonderful weekend and we’ll see you on
Monday for our last week together in 2016.
Love,
Mrs. Eaves & Mrs. Beasley

doing an excellent job with high frequency words.
Continue to practice the ones you’re not recognizing
lightning fast!
In handwriting we’ll work on “Magic C” capital Q and G.
Reading groups are working really hard to master
blending letter sounds to read new words and create
rhyming words. Reviewing the SRA Pages at night is
helping a ton. Keep it up!
