Smith; CCIM,CPM® RPA It is my pleasure to write this short message to Chapter 58 membership. We traveled to New York City in March to attend the IREM Region 1,2 &3 Meetings at the New York Marriott Downtown. Great regional event to review the organization strategic path and to network. While there we also attended the Asset & Property Management Symposium sponsored by Greater New York Chapter 26 at the New York Academy of Sciences. Very interesting presentations of new technologies as well as time test- Elwood Davis Road, Syracuse New York. Don’t miss out on upcoming meetings. Coming June 16th, is an awesome event with the tour of the Black Button Distillery. The tour and event runs from 4:00pm– 7:00pm. We have toured Breweries and Wineries, now come checkout Whiskey Distillery with us. Shots! Don’t forget in July is our 14th Annual Golf Tournament. Monday, July 17th at Shadow Lake Golf and Racquet Club. Even if you are not a golfer, you should attend the tournament for fun of the scramble, a little swing practice, a chance to win great prizes, and/or a business day spent outdoors! Not to mention Chapter 58 will be making a donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities with your help. Contact the Chapter to sign up. We are also looking for sponsorships. This is a great way to get your company’s name out there to Western New York property management community. At the national level, I recently completed an application for the Region #2: 2018 Governing Councilors.
