2016 Africa Mission Trip (Feb 10th-22nd)
Revival Harvest Ministry is going to Africa and is now taking applications from Born Again men and woman who
believe they are being called to join us.
We believe Our Africa 2016 Mission Trip is going to be the most exciting and rewarding trip ever. This is a twelve
day mission trip focusing on revival and ministry in Kenya.
Our 1st week will include
an open air revival in one
of the biggest slums in
East
Africa
called
Mathare. If ever there
was a place in Kenya that
needed
Revival,
a
demonstration of God's
love,
power,
and
encouraging news of the
Gospel to the poor, it
could easily be Mathare. "The Mathare Valley is one of the oldest and worst slum areas in Nairobi and the degree of
poverty there is unimaginable. People live in 6 ft. x 8 ft. shanties made of old tin and mud....People sleep on pieces of
cardboard on the dirt floors of the shanties....Approximately 600,000 people live in an area of three square miles
(highly dense population). Most live on an income of less than a dollar per day. (Wikipedia)."
We will be partnering
with a local 2,000
member church called
Redeemed Evangelistic
Fellowship, which is in
the middle of Mathare.
Our revival will be
conducted in an open
field next to Evangelistic
Fellowship on a large
stage overlooking much
of the Mathare Commuity. We will also be partnering with a well known
Africa Worship leader named Samuel Opingo, but we also hope to bring worship musicians with us from America to
work as a blened African/USA Worship Team. This revival is sure to draw many thousands of people, and our
prayer team is sure to be used big for miracles, signs and wonders as we pray for hundreds and likely thousands of
people that need healing and salvation. If you ever wanted to grow in the anointing for healing, I would recommend
praying about coming on this mission trip.
For safety purposes we will have a security team with us at Mathare. In the
evening we will be staying at a nice place out of the slum area called "The
Missionary Guest House" in Nairobi. This guess house is peaceful, has security
and will be providing for our food each day. There will be a combined African and
USA team staying at the Guest House. The Africa Team are personal, trustworthy
friends of RHM.
Our mission trip continues as we depart out of the slums of Nairobi, through some of the most beautiful country in
all of Africa, the Rift Valley. Although most of Kenya is very poor, the beautiful Rift Valley produces much food
and is considered the Kenya "Bread Basket". Our first stop on our way through the Rift Valley will be a city called
Nakuru Kenya where our Ministry Partner (Pastor Dan) is based. Here we will be stopping to visit the Church and to
feed and clothe our kids (orphans). If you have a heart to express the love of God to underprivileged kids, then you
are going to love this part
of the mission. Revival

kids as often as we can
(currently twice a month).
It's not uncommon for our
kids to go 2-3 days without
food. The need is truly
great. We seek partners to
help us with this. Our
children live in Christian
Guardian homes that are
very poor, but their faith
will amaze you.
From Nakuru we travel many hours into a very rural area of Kenya where our local partner (Pastor Dan, Word of Life
Church) has several church plants. For several days we plan to do a day and evening meeting to demonstrate the love
and power of Almighty God
in the name of Jesus! The
crowds at these meetings
will have a "local farm
community feel" and crowds
are likely to be much
smaller (hundreds) than the
crowds from Week One
(thousands). This part of our
trip will be an excellent
opportunity for our USA
Ministry Team to get activated in their areas of gifting or in areas you might want to be stretched in (preaching,
Words of knowledge, Prophetic, Worship, Media, Healing). There is no electric power at night (although we will
likely have solar panels and batteries to
charge things), but we will definitely be
blessed by the sounds of nature in the
cool night air.
At the end of three days here, we will
journey back to Nakuru to feed our Kids
again, then to Nairobi to fly home.

opportunities we will have to
demonstrate His love, power, and
salvation to many, in Jesus Name!

Qualifications to apply: You need to be Born Again confessing Jesus as your Lord and Savior, to be living a life
of following Jesus, and believe you are being called to go with us to Africa on this trip. If you have a desire to grow in the area
of supernatural healing and other gifts of the Spirit, to win souls and love the poor, this trip maybe for you. We encourage
people to apply who spend significant time in prayer and are "on fire for God", or that have a desire to be "on fire for God". We
see great miracles in Africa, but we also experience spiritual opposition. Being right with God and on fire for His Presence are
necessary ingredients for spiritual protection.

* I have read and am in agreement with the RHM Statement of Faith (please see attached). I agree to follow direction from RHM

Mission Trip Price to Africa in 2016 is $3500 per person. This includes all necessary expenses for your airfare from Portland
Oregon, rooms, food, and transportation on the trip. A $200 deposit is required when submitting this application. This deposit
is non refundable if your application is accepted. There are three payment deadlines of $1,000 each on 1st of November,
December and January of each month, and the remaining balance to be paid by January 31st. You are encouraged to send out
support letters to friends and family explaining your trip to feed the hungry and to tell people about Jesus. Often God will move
on the hearts of others to help partner in sending you to the mission field. We can set up a way on our website for people to
donate for you to go on this trip. We are an approved 501c3 Non-Profit organization. It is possible for donations to be tax
deductible (See Raising Funds For Your Trip at www.RevivalHarvest.Org). NOTE: If you are unable or decide not to attend
this trip, some of your payments may or may not be refundable (would then go to the general mission trip fund) due to airline
and other deposits RHM made in anticipation of you coming on the trip. However, we are believing God will make a way once
you have committed to going. It's amazing how many times we have seen God come through for people who step out in faith,
believing Him for the funds to answer His calling for you to go.

Revival Harvest Ministry Statement of Faith:


RHM believes that the Bible is the Word of God (2Tim 3:16).
That God’s normal temperament is that He is in a good mood (Heb 1:8-9, Gal 5:22-23, Heb
12:2, Eph 1:5).

That He loves people and is for us (John 3:16-17).

That God created us to love, worship, and to serve Him, and by this we are blessed beyond
our current comprehension. He has created us as objects of His affection (Col1:16, Ps100,
Dan 7:27, 1Cor2:9, Eph1, Rom 8:16-19, Rev 21:1-4).


We believe that God’s plan for us is that we would inherit Him (Eph 1:11) and that He would
inherit us (Eph 1:18).
We believe that through sin man lost his inheritance (separated from God), but that Jesus
came to save us (John 3:16), and that through Jesus this plan of everlasting fellowship with

God has been restored to all who believe in Him and receive Him as Lord and Savior (John
11:25-27).
We believe that there is good and evil, a Heaven and a hell, and judgment to come as the
Bible teaches.

We believe what Jesus said was true, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to

the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6). We believe there is no other way to salvation
except through Jesus (Acts 4:12).
We believe that a person becomes saved by repenting of sin, confessing Jesus as Lord and
Savior, believing in their heart that He has risen from the dead, and in receiving Jesus into
their heart through the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38, Rom 10:9). A person is saved by grace
through faith in Jesus (Eph 2:8).


We believe in water baptism by submersion in obedience to the scriptures (Acts).
We believe that Jesus is returning with great power and glory, with His Holy Angels, to
gather together His elect (His saved ones) Mat 24:30-31.

We believe that the Gifts of the Holy Spirit are available for the church today, such as
miracles, signs and wonders, as described in the Bible such as in 1Corinthians chapter 12.
We believe that as we preach the Word of God, that signs shall naturally follow (Mark
16:20). We believe that the power and spiritual gifts given to us as a ministry by God, are
to be used to help reach and save the lost, and to minister to and equip the saints, in
power, and with honor, and love towards all.
