DAY 1
SP1 | POSTE
3.5 Km - 700 m Elevation Loss
This is an historic trail that from Bric Gettina, near the ancient Mines of Silver,
reaches Ferriera [iron manufacturing complex], where the main economic
activity of Rialto's community was carried out in the past. The track runs
almost entirely within the woods with steep sections and short climbs that
make it one of the most physical and intense trails in the whole Finale. The
small lake, close to the final section of this trail, fed by a charming waterfall, is
very picturesque.
SP2 | CAVATAPPI
2.1 Km - 450 m Elevation Loss
The trail starts near 'Nostra Signora della Guardia' sanctuary that overlooks
Calice Ligure and Rialto villages. After a flowing start within a chestnut wood,
you soon reach the most technical section, that really sets the difficulty level of
the track. The track is well-known for a rocky and very challenging sequence of
corners – a toboggan - and for this reason it's called the 'corkscrew'.
SP3 | CROMAGNON
2 Km - 210 m Elevation Loss
This trail is steeped in history and culture, thanks to the presence of ancient
ruins, the oldest of which are of pre-Roman age.
The trail winds through a thick wood of Holm oaks and passes through old
terraces that in the past were intensely cultivated.
Along this trail, the rocks make it all, with the light colour of Pietra del Finale
limestones that combines with the brown colour of clay to create very specific
conditions that depend on the changing of the weather.
DAY 2
SP4 | CRESTINO
4 Km - 300 m Elevation Loss
This is a ridge trail that runs within a stunning beech forest, in a unique and
impressive settings. Never-ending corners and gradient changes make it one of
the most flowing trails in the area, an amazing combination of speed and fun.
SP5 | ROCCHE GIANCHE
2.3 Km - 270 m Elevation Loss
This is a very technical trail opening with a ridge section that is simply
unforgettable. The panorama is magnificent and the technical passages on
rock are brilliant. The views from the ridge spans 360° over the entire Finale's
region and on the clearest days you can spot perfectly the Ligurian Alps and
even Corsica. After the ridge section, you drop into a dense wood, where
faster sections alternate with more technical bits.
SP6 | ANDRASSA
3 Km - 210 m Elevation Loss
The trail starts in Bric dei Monti, which offers a fantastic glimpse over the
protected marine area of Bergeggi Island. You then enter a fun and fast wood
of ash trees. Here, handling skills and speed count more than technique at
least until you reach 'Prati dell'Andrassa', where a section with a number of
technical passages on rock begins quite soon. In this area there are several
caves, very interesting from a speleological point of view.
SP7 | DH MEN
2.5 Km - 340 m Elevation Loss
This is one of the most iconic tracks of the Italian Riviera. It is composed of
three sections, totally different in surface, but similar for speed and
breathtaking landscapes they offer. The top section, thanks to the red clay of
Altopiano delle Manie, offers some good grip, while the middle section is tricky
and strewn with rolling rocks. The final section has a few technical passages,
something not dissimilar from a Downhill track. The route takes you directly
