Many Constitution Party members invest their financial resources - gold, land, silver, and
even precious stones - to protect their families from an economy run amok. Protecting
families is a core belief of our party: establishing financial freedom from fiat money,
keeping a wary eye on government threats to privacy rights, and opposing any
commitment that sends ourHong
sons Kong
and daughters into unconstitutional wars around the
globe.
Party members have long ago learned the lesson that giving money to the elitist-run political duopoly is a waste even a dangerous investment. Veteran Constitution Party members understand the fat cat PACs, using the word
"conservative," promise to give money from patriots - but their million dollar operations have extraordinary
salaries and overhead - and send a tiny fraction of their income to candidates.
I'm thankful that you know politically good investments vs. bad, and understand returns on your political
investments in the Constitution Party are measurable. For example, in 2014 there were over 100 candidates
carrying the Constitution Party banner in campaigns for office ranging from sheriff to governor. More than one
million voters supported those campaigns.
The next step is logical, difficult, but doable: to reach more voters we must have our party on the ballot in more

states. Period. That's why we've launched the Voter '16 project - designed to reach ten million voters in a variety
of states:

In Alaska, 3,009 signatures are required on petitions - we have 2,000 in hand. Because the major party
politicians find almost any excuse to disqualify names, we have set the final tally higher but our state
leaders are confident they can get the job done.

Delaware has reached 50 percent of its goal.

The West Virginia Constitution Party is nearly over-the-top in its campaign, and expects enough
signatures to gain ballot access very soon.
Your investments of time, talent and financial resources are inspiring. Many other states are organizing ballot
access drives.

From the Inbox . . .
We recently completed the Research Survey on
American Political Parties sent to us by a graduate
researcher at the University of Maryland. It was a
great opportunity to share information about the
Constitution Party in our own words.
We were also contacted by the National Conference of
State Legislatures, asking for input regarding ballot
access for alternative political parties. In answering
their questions, we were able to explain the difficulties
and challenges we face, and share ideas for solutions
to these problems.
Two other thoughts:
Our position on the Federal Reserve, gold and silver
money, and electronic money like bitcoin has been a
frequent question lately. Read the Constitution Party
plank on Money and Banking for more information.
Who will be the 2016 Constitution Party presidential
nominee? A question that will be answered at our
national presidential nominating convention, which
will be held in early 2016 in Salt Lake City. What we
can tell you now is that nearly 20 people have either
expressed an interest in running on the Constitution
Party ticket, or have actually announced. We are in
the process of compiling a list. To find out more
about Constitution Party elections, visit the Elections
Central page on the national website.

The
Howard Phillips
Legacy Society
Introduced two years ago, the Howard Phillips Legacy
Society builds a solid financial foundation for the
Constitution Party, from donors committed to the
ideals and principles Howard espoused.
This year, 2015, is crucial to next year’s strategy. We
must assess the means and timing of our investments
in ballot access drives to give voters an alternative to
the elitist-controlled major parties.
Last year, over one million voters were inspired to
support our candidates and the platform we believe
in. That’s quite an achievement — one that Howard
Phillips would be proud of. He founded the
Constitution Party on a simple premise … “We stand
for what George Washington stood for: limiting the
federal government to its delegated, enumerated
functions and restoring American jurisprudence to its
biblical common-law foundations.”
Our Republic faces loud and foolish partisan slogans,
influential political power brokers, and unfair rules
and regulations for 3rd parties. Yet the Constitution
Party has survived, even grown, for 23 years.
Members of the Howard Phillips Legacy Society will
receive the exclusive VICTORY REPORT newsletter
and various gifts of appreciation for joining, including
a copy of the patriot classic book by W. Cleon
Skousen, “The 5000 Year Leap”.

J.R. Myers
Alaska Constitution Party
Are you recruiting more CP members - how do you do
that in Alaska?
J.R. Myers is the Alaska Constitution Party (ACP)
founder and now three term state chairman, and was
our party’s nominee for Alaska Governor last year. He
and his running mate, Maria Rensel, gained 2.5
percent of the vote in the first ACP statewide race in
Alaska.
JR, tell us a bit about your background.
I was born in Great Falls, Montana on January 3, 1963,
and am the descendant of pioneers from several
Northern and Central European countries, as well as
the Cree/Metis people of Canada and Montana. I
earned my B.S. in Liberal Arts, Cum Laude, from the
University of Great Falls, where I eventually earned
both a Master of Human Services and Master of
Professional Counseling degrees. My political resume
includes membership in the Alaskan Independence
Party for seven years, rising to become AIP Vice
Chairman. In 2010 I founded, and continue to Chair,
the Alaska Constitution Party. I am also completing a
two year term as President of the Alaska Counseling
Association. I have dedicated my life to the service of
others, striving to provide hope and healing in the
Last Frontier, in my greenhouse and on property, my
little cabin in the woods.
ACP was on the ballot in ’14 - how did you do it
considering we’ve never had an affiliate in America’s
biggest state. What’s next to get on the ballot - how are
you progressing?
We obtained about 9,000 signatures to get on the
ballot in 2014. My running mate and I had to run two
separate petition drives, one for each of us. We were
not allowed to coordinate this effort, per Alaska
election law. This was a challenge, but we did it!
Since we did not achieve the 3 percent vote threshold
to stay ballot qualified, we need to petition again to
get our candidates on the ballot. We have already
begun the effort for our 2016 Presidential ticket. To
date, we have gathered nearly 3,000 out of a goal of
4,500 signatures. We have started early, and have a
We are constantly recruiting new members. While
our party is small in numbers of registered voters, we
continue to grow at the fastest rate of any party in
Alaska. We stick to our core mission of education,
elections, and advocacy. Our Ranger program leads
the way in training citizens in their government
oversight responsibilities. We keep a visible presence
through attending various community and
government meetings, by offering public testimony
and by publicizing our activities via social media and
our ACP website. We provide ongoing social media,
radio and television interviews. Our members
produce and post videos online. In short, we harness
the energy of our members by encouraging them to
partner with us in the areas of their greatest interest,
which may be Life, Liberty or Property. We realize
that people are often already active in these areas of
personal passion. We seek to unleash this potential
by providing an organized outlet for real meaningful
action. Our influence on the political scene is
magnified exponentially due to the excellent training,
motivation and engagement of our Rangers and
members.
How are you getting petitions signed for candidates - is
there a different process to get party registrations?
We employ a combination of paid and volunteer
signature collectors. We have established and
maintained a good relationship with petition
gatherers. This has been very effective, especially
when trying to meet strict petition deadlines. The
process for getting party registrants has been allowed
to develop at a natural rate of growth. Currently,
about one or two people a week are choosing to
register as Alaska Constitution Party members. This
is our only measure of membership. Our main
challenge is contacting our members effectively. The
State of Alaska will provide physical addresses, but
not phone numbers or e-mails to contact party
registrants.

What are the most important CP stands for you?
Personally, I am most concerned about the constant
assaults on the continuum of Human Life. This is the
foundation for all else. The CP consistently defends
the dignity and sanctity of innocent human life. We
recognize this issue extends far beyond the abortion
debate to include, assisted suicide, euthanasia, forced
vaccinations, fully informed medical consent, medical
ethics, adulteration of food and medicine, removing
access to alternative medical care, government
executions and illegal military operations.
Fiscal responsibility and limitation of the overreach of
government at all levels is also paramount. We
understand that the Constitution was adopted to limit
government. We understand that government
usurpations of legitimate authority are occurring at
all levels. We understand that our election system
demands transparency and authenticity. We
understand that powerful interests limit candidate
debate and media participation. We understand that
corporations are not humans. We seek to restore the
proper balance of power within the government, and
to re-assert the primacy of the People over their
servant government. Therefore, we seek the
restoration of the Rule of Law via adherence to strict
constitutional provisions. This is accomplished
through education and accountability of ourselves
and our leaders.
What do we believe in that resonates in Alaska - what’s
your best CP recruiting tool?
Freedom resonates throughout Alaska! People know
that government is not serving their interests, but
rather has been warped by powerful special interests.
Alaskans want an environment that maximizes
freedom and opportunity. We are currently locked in
a battle for the future of Alaska. Plummeting oil
revenues have thrown the ingrained socialist policies
of state government into disarray. We must now
forge a way forward without the bloated government
so many have come to expect and trust to support
them. Government should never be the primary
economic engine. We realize that the larger the

Liberty! We believe the People are subject to God,
and the Government is subject to the People!
Have you learned lessons - good ones and bad - that
you’d pass along to states currently getting on the
ballot?
Yes, start early. Be bold! Post the campaign on social
media. Publicize the effort through talk radio and
letters to the editor. Educate yourselves thoroughly
on your local and state election laws. Organize your
drive by area. Build trusting relationships with
professional signature gatherers when possible.
Utilize their knowledge of the process, when
available. Find good locations, such as outside of
libraries, post offices and stores (with permission).
Be persistent!

ILLEGAL ALIENS ISSUE MAY BE WORSE THAN YOU THINK
Executive Committee Member Peter Gemma
Protecting the 1,954-mile Mexico-U.S. line is not just
to stave off the dangerous drug cartels and the flood
of savage criminal gangs. Congressman Ryan Zinkle
asserts: “It’s not about immigration alone. It’s about
national security … if children can walk across our
border without consequences, what makes this
administration think that ISIS can’t?”
director of the National Counterterrorism Center John
Mulligan. A Brookings Institution report estimates
200,000 people receive an ISIS message each day
around the world. It starts with about 2,000 “core”
propagandists posting on Twitter and elsewhere, and
then another 50,000 people “re-Tweet” and further
distribute that messaging.
Former Chief of Operations for the U.S. Drug
Enforcement Agency, Michael Braun, testified before
Congress about Iran’s growing influence along the
Mexican border. Braun said that the terrorist group
Hezbollah has developed sophisticated relationships
with Mexican drug cartels. “And by developing those
relations it provides them with the ability to operate
far from home in our neighborhood and – on our
doorstep.”
Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-CA), a member of the
House Armed Services Committee, summed-up the
terrorism threats this way: “ISIS doesn’t have a navy,
they don’t have an air force. The only way that ISIS is
going to harm Americans is by coming through the
southern border – which they already have. They
aren’t flying B-1 bombers, bombing American cities,
but they are going to be bombing American cities
coming across from Mexico … All you have to do is ask
the border patrol.”
U.S. Border patrol released its apprehension statistics
for 2014, showing that 257,473 arrests of illegal
aliens were from countries “other than Mexico,”
including 1,191 suspects from Iran, Sudan, Syria,
Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Somalia, and Yemen,
nations with powerful terrorist cells.
Most illegal aliens crawl under fences to get here –
then meld into a subterranean culture within
American cities. From the Middle East, the route is
different. NBC has reported that some illegal aliens
pay $8-10,000 to get over the border safely; several
investigative news reports uncovered price tags as
high as $50,000. As part of the bigger picture,
according to the German newspaper Zeit, ISIS nets as
much as $3 million a day.
In addition to keeping terrorists out, there is a new
problem: finding homegrown terrorists who are
inspired, instructed, and recruited through the
Internet. Congressman Michael McCaul, the Chairman
of the House Committee on Homeland Security, states,
“Terrorism has gone viral.”
So far this year, ISIS has published 1,700 pieces of
“terrorist messaging,” including videos, pictorial
reports and online magazines, according to deputy
Sealing off the border is the promise of many
politicians, but their delivery has gone from bad to
worse. The Department of Homeland Security spends
$4 billion annually deploying over 58,000 personnel
with 16,875 vehicles, 269 aircraft, 300 watercraft, and
300 camera towers. It even uses aerial drones to
enhance the scrutiny. From 2000 through 2012, the
Border Patrol apprehends dropped by 78 percent. A
February, 2013 Government Accountability Office
report found that just 44 percent of the border was
under “operational control,” 37 percent was
“monitored,” and the rest “low-level monitored.”
Despite more funding, the 2014 results were dismal:
the department had built just 36 miles of two-tier
fencing, 316 miles of single-tier fence, and another
299 miles of vehicle barriers that still allow
pedestrians to cross.
The Constitution Party must be on the front lines of
this fight. According to our platform, “We affirm the
integrity of the international borders of the United
States and the Constitutional authority and duty of
the federal government to guard and to protect those
borders.”
