Fashionist, one of the most prominent fair organizations in the textile
and clothing industry, will bring together domestic and international
fashion professionals at the halls of Lutfi Kirdar Convention and
Exhibition Center and Istanbul Congress Center for the third time.
Fashionist Evening Gowns, Wedding Dresses and Suits Fair organized by Patika Fair Inc. and
Osmanbey Textile Businessmen’s Association (OTIAD) will be held on January 14-16, 2015.
Officially registered by The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB)
and ranking among the international fairs, Fashionist represents the Turkish textile and
clothing industry in the international arena and aims to create a huge trade volume among
three continents with its participant profile.
Fashionist ’16 is opening into new markets that will bring a breath of fresh air into the
Turkish textile industry...
Fashionist hosted approximately 40,000 visitors with 250 participating brands and boutiques
creating a 500 million USD trade volume in its first two years of operation. In its third year, a
purchase committee operation, biggest ever to take place in Turkey, has been conducted
under the organization of İstanbul Readymade Garment and Apparel Exporters' Association
(İHKİB) and with the support of Ministry of Economy and İstanbul Textile and Raw Material
Exporters (İTHİB). The field work for Fashionist which is also supported by İstanbul Chamber
of Commerce (İTO) has started 11 months ago.
Patika Fair Inc. has conducted field work primarily in MIDDLE EAST, AFRICA, IRAN, TURKIC
REPUBLICS and THE BALKANS with 4 different teams who canvassed the markets, shopping
malls and shopping districts meeting all potential buyers and inviting chain stores,
wholesalers and boutiques to the fair.
More than 700 purchase committees from 3 continents...
More than 700 fashion professionals and buyers primarily from Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia,
Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran from the Middle East region;
Azarbaijan, East Turkestan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, from the
Turkic Republics; Netherlands, Belgium, Serbia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo,
Macedonia, Germany, France, Italy, Montenegro from Europe and Angola, Nijeria, Ivory
Coast, Ghana, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya, Egypt, Sudan from Africa will be hosted.
The buyers who will be hosted in Istanbul will visit the fair for three days starting new
collaborations. Fashionist in its third year will gain new markets and buyers for all its
participants.
