Five Characteristics Of The Wise Woman

Five Characteristics Of
The Wise Woman
Proverbs
* The virtuous woman of Proverbs 31 lives a life
demonstrating God’s wisdom.
* Lady Wisdom breaks her life down in bite size
chunks of time, which we can all apply to the different
stages of our lives.
* Lady Wisdom offers to show us the way of strength
rather than look down her nose and watch us wallow in
weakness.
* Allan Ross wrote:
“Proverbs 31 certainly presents a pattern for women who
want to develop a life of wisdom; but since Proverbs 31 is essentially
about wisdom, its lessons are for both men and women to develop.
The passage teaches that the fear of the Lord will inspire people to be
faithful stewards of the time and talents that God has given; that
wisdom is productive and beneficial for others, requiring great
industry in life’s endeavors; that wisdom is best taught and lived in
the home – indeed, the success of the home demands wisdom.”
