The Children’s Museum of Acadiana (CMA) is a hands-on
participatory museum serving children and their families by
providing interactive exhibits, performances and
workshops. CMA offers many summer camps in June and
July for children ages 5–18. Camps cost from $90-$115.

The YMCA offers many themed day and overnight camps
at Camp Treece, located 15 miles southeast of Lafayette,
for ages 4 and up. Daily activities include horseback riding,
team building, canoeing, swimming, obstacle course, arts

The Christian Youth Theater (CYT) summer camp fills your
child’s day with theater workshops that include musical
theater, voice, dance and drama. Each summer camp is

program running Mon – Fri 7:30am – 5:30pm. Programs
include education, career, character, leadership, arts, sports,
fitness, recreation and health and life skills. Kids will be able
to participate in activities such as spelling and trivia
competitions, field trips, bowling, skating, swimming,
