Defective ice cube tray
Models:
All models with automatic IceMaker and the ice cube tray it includes
7424 343 or 7429 131
Fault profile:
The ice cube tray is cracked or broken.
Remedial action:
Retrofit the optimized ice cube tray to the IceMaker – see following pages.

Umrüstung der Eiswürfelschale
Change over of the ice-cube tray
1. Kompletten Eiswürfelbereiter aus dem Gefrierteil entnehmen. Die Elektronikeinheit inkl. Abdeckungen, der
Antrieb inkl. Hebel und die Sicherungsschraube werden in das neue Gehäuse übertragen. Die restlichen
Teile und das alte Gehäuse werden nicht mehr benötigt.
Take out the complete icemaker from the freezing compartment. The PCB-unit with covers, the motor with
shaft and the safety-screw will be mounted in the new housing. The rest of the parts and the old housing
aren’t necessary any more

3. Fühler einsetzen - Steg muss zwischen den Kabeln sein, damit der Fühler nicht verrutschen kann.
Styroporteil und Halterung aufsetzen - Halterung muss im Bereich des Styroporteiles an den 3
vorgegebenen Stellen einrasten und an der gegenüberliegenden Stelle eingehakt werden.
Mount the sensor - the nose must be between the cables that the sensor cannot slip out of position. Put
on styrofoam and bracket- the bracket must be clipped into the 3 defined positions nearby the styrofoam
and hooked in at the opposite.

4. Halteteile gemäß Abbildung aufstecken und Fühlerkabel bei vorderem Halteteil einclipsen.
Plug on the carriers as shown in the figure and clip the cable of the sensor into the front carrier.
5. Schale auf Antrieb stecken und Fühlerkabel bei Antrieb einclipsen. Freie Fühlerkabellänge 10,5 cm.
Plug the tray onto the motor and clip in the cable of the sensor at the motor. Free length of cable 10,5 cm.

Schale und Antrieb in neues Gehäuse einsetzen und mit der Schraube wieder sichern.
Put the tray and the motor into the new housing and fix it with the screw.

Der Anschlagwinkel des neuen Gehäuses ist abgeschrägt, damit das hintere Halteteil für die neue
Eiswürfelschale in die Grundstellung (waagrecht) fahren kann.
The stop bracket of the new housing is sloped, that the rear carrier for the new ice-cube tray can get the
initial state (horizontal).

Platine einsetzen und Kabel anstecken. Abdeckungen montieren. Eiswürfelbereiter wieder einbauen.
Put in the PCB and plug in the cables. Mount the covers. Build in the icemaker again.
