Helen’s Honey Hob cakes
•Heat oven gas 2/3,
electric 150/160
•Mix butter, set honey,
runny honey and
milk together.
•Stir flour and oats into
creamed mixture.
Mix well.
•Roll into small balls
and flatten gently!
Makes about 24 biscuits. Space evenly onto
baking tray (line with
baking parchment
•5oz butter
or grease lightly).
(if margarine
•When golden brown
must be block
place on a cooling
not spreadable)
rack to set.
•5oz set honey
“Scrummy!”
•1 tablespoon milk
•1 teaspoon
clear honey
•5oz self raising
wholemeal flour
•4oz rolled oats
