Nov. 19th : Distinguish between a summary and a critique and make inferences using textual
support. Evaluate evidence authors use to support ideas. Locate informational texts online;

Read movie reviews and draw inferences about the text. Identify evidence the author of
the review used to support his/her idea. How relevant and reliable is the evidence? Examine the
impact of the connotative meaning of words. Review connotation and denotation.
