been going to camp

staff! This year, I get to hang out with

stoked to be part of the island out trip
team! In the dorms, you can look
forward to amazing music all the time
and lot and lots of... fun! I am really
excited to go on an adventure with all
of you this summer. Camp Encounter is
one part of the greatest adventure of

had enough fun and
excitement last
summer to last a
lifetime, and am hoping to double that
this summer! I will be your Spirits
director this summer, and I can't wait
to show you all how much God loves you,
and how each one of you is a very
special part in God's magnificent plan! I
can't wait to see all you old campers
come back, and I'm even more excited
to meet all you new campers coming out
for the first time! I know that it is

exciting summer as a
staff . This year I will
be crafting it up in the
wonderful craft shack. I am looking
forward to making cool things with
you all. I am also really stoked for a
summers worth of good weather,
playing, exploring, friendmaking, memories, and more. This will
be my eleventh consecutive summer out
at camp! I really love nature and the
beauty of our world. I also love working
with kids (that's even what I am in
University for!), going on adventures,
and music. If you like any of that... or
even if you don't... I am sure we will get
along just fine! Can't wait to see you all
here!

Hammer
It's Bass here! This
year I will be your
guide in many camp
adventures. Last year,
in the fall, I had a
taste of being camp
staff and now I am
back to get the full experience of being
camp staff for six months. I will be
programming for schools in the spring
and fall, and during the summer
months, I will be the adventure
programmer. For the long winter
months and I’ve been trying to distract
myself by skiing as often as possible.
Now I am practically counting down the
days until I get to come back to camp.
I am so looking forward to rekindling
great friendships and creating new
ones. This summer I am going to spend
all of my time making sure that I get to
know you better, and taking you on
adventures. 2010 is going to ROCK!!! -Bass

Celebration and Our Lady of Lourdes
Annual Parish Picnic

We are celebrating our 30th birthday and your
invited. In conjunction with the annual parish picnic
are planning an amazing weekend of fun, laughter,
memories, and celebrations. We recognize and support
that for 30 years Camp Encounter has been changing
the lives of young people from all over the world,
literally.
Stations of the Cross
Join us as we walk the passion of the cross and relive

Free Activities Include:
Stay overnight for free in our dorms or camp outside
in tents.
Wall Climbing, Archery, Canoeing, Challenge Course,
Low-Ropes, Drum Circle, Labyrinth, Camp Fire
Program, Fire works, Square Dancing.
Meals cost $5.00 per person.
Fundraisers Include:
