Thanks for all you do to support us!! SOCIAL STUDIES Cordes, McMahan: Girls rock!! As we study the Progressive Age where good people tried to make positive changes.....women get the right to vote! All money for Session 1 is due Nov. 2. Check Mrs. Caiola's blog for money deadline for Session 2. Caiola: On TUESDAY 11/1 - Your son or daughter will bring home a detailed progress report and we will work to complete and reteach any missing or low grades. There is no other HW assigned for the week. Your sons and daughters have been working almost paperless as we began the 2nd Nine Weeks. Students are using online activities related to USA Studies Weekly for Weeks 6, 7 and 8. To begin with I was giving participation grades but I am now looking to grade questions for accuracy. Google Classroom- Many other assignments have been submitted as Google Docs or Google forms. Students who need more time completing classwork have found Google forms challenging….so more of the written work is now being submitted on a Google doc so that the work is saved via computer each time they work until they SUBMIT the completed work to turn in the assignment to me. Finally, our LEARNING GOAL for the YEAR is to write each answer as a complete sentence restating words from the question and avoiding pronouns such as he, she, it, or they as we work to answer more precisely. I’m excited at their progress. Campbell: Please check the blog for important PAL Reminders!!
