Gardens as a Metaphor

 A five-part series exploring some of the real and imaginary gardens, central to both ancient and
contemporary life, literature and art. The series will refer to Robert Pogue Harrison’s recent
work: Gardens: An Essay on the Human Condition and the popular BBC TV series: Around the
World in 100 Gardens and will incorporate a trip to the National Art Gallery (Vic).
