What is Strive for Success?
An Oak Park Community collaborative that identifies and customizes
multicultural behavioral health referral services to assist and support families
with their specific needs. Strive for Success is evidence-based with community
best practices and includes a data base system focusing on maximizing
resources while minimizing duplication of services.
What Does Strive for Success Offer?
Tutoring  After-school Services  Recreation Activities  Mentoring  Substance
Abuse Child and Adolescent Psychiatry  Youth and Family Counseling Crisis
Stabilization Family Therapy and Education Trauma Informed Care Child
Care Domestic Violence Legal Advocacy Case Management Care Navigation
Who is Eligible for Strive for Success?
Our aim is to support and assist minority youth & families to navigate the
complex system of behavioral health and other social support services offered in
the Oak Park and River Forest Communities.
How Much Does Strive for Success Cost?
The program is at no cost and assists with providing referrals and linkages for
behavioral health and other social support services specific to youth’s academic,
social and emotional needs.
Who Sponsors Strive for Success?
The Oak Park Township Multicultural Health Advisory Committee in collaboration
with the Community Mental Health Board of Oak Park Township and TASC.
