Here at Mount Richmond Hotel we would love to help make your wedding day memorable. We consider it a privilege to be
involved in such an important event in your life.
We offer a more intimate setting than some of the larger venues, and as owner operators we take a personal interest in each
wedding.
We offer very competitive wedding packages which include:

our beautiful Richmond room for grand celebrations for up to 200 guests.
We have facilities for your wedding ceremony and have locations within the hotel grounds or in private rooms for your wedding
photographs.
Our menus are flexible; we may be able to substitute dishes from other menus, add your own special dishes or add extra dishes.
Some changes may affect our pricing but we will work with you to ensure you are happy with your final menu. We will cater for any
of your guests with special dietary requirements and we are fully licensed and offer a range of New Zealand and international
beers, wines, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages. Sorry we do not allow any BYO food or beverages apart from your wedding cake.
We will provide as much assistance as you require with sourcing all of your ancillary services such as wedding cakes, florists,
photographers, limousine hire, DJ’s and printing for your wedding stationery. Our experienced wedding coordinator will guide you
through the process of creating a very special day for you, your family and friends to enjoy and cherish.
Should you decide to proceed, your booking will be secured with the payment of a non-refundable deposit of $ 500.00.
Final payment is required 7 working days prior to your wedding which is when you confirm your final numbers.

covers with organza bows to match your bridal décor and a romantic bridal backdrop complete with fairy lights. Enjoy the Supreme
wedding menu banquet prepared by our expert Chefs and delight in the professional expertise of our food & beverage team who
will serve the bridal table whilst your guests indulge from the banquet tables.
We will provide a complimentary dance floor, microphone for your speeches, display table for your wedding cake and gifts. You
will also receive a complimentary honeymoon suite complete with chocolates, flowers and bubbles, cooked breakfast delivered to
your suite and a late checkout till 1.00pm. We are fully licensed and have a range of superb New Zealand and imported wines and
beverages.

Your package includes one of our private function venues with beautifully dressed tables for you and your guests, a traditional
Pacific Island banquet prepared by our team of Island Chefs and even a Spit Roast Pig (available as an optional extra). You will
receive:
• Individual service for the bridal table throughout
• Your guests will be able to serve themselves as many times as they would like from the expansive buffet tables
• A dance floor for your dance performances, microphone for your speeches and table for your wedding cake, wedding well
and gifts.
You are welcome to add any of your own special decorations to the room including tapa cloths. The bridal couple will enjoy a
complimentary honeymoon suite complete with chocolates, flowers and bubbles, cooked breakfast delivered to your suite and a
late checkout till 1.00pm. We are fully licensed and have a range of superb local and imported wines and non-alcoholic beverages.

Confirmed bookings are established on receipt of the specified non-refundable deposit. Initial confirmation is payable within seven
days of the request. Should we not receive the confirmation deposit within the specified time, we reserve the right to cancel the
booking.
Damages/Insurance
The Hotel does not accept any responsibility for damage to, or loss of any property or merchandise left in the Hotel prior to, during or
after any function.
It is recommended that the Client arrange their own personal liability insurance and security, as required.
Nothing is to be nailed, screwed, stapled, or adhered to any wall, door or other surface or part of the building or furniture unless prior
approval has been given by the Hotel Management. The Client may use “Blue tak” providing it is all removed prior to the Client’s
departure. Suitable floor protection is to be used as required.
In the event of any damages the Client assumes responsibility for any and all damages caused by the Client or any of the Client’s
guests or invitees or other persons attending the wedding, whether in accommodation rooms reserved or in any other part of the
Hotel.
The Client will be responsible for the removal of all property after the conclusion of the event and any goods left in the Hotel after the
wedding without prior arrangement will be deemed abandoned.
Guaranteed Numbers
The Client agrees to advise the Hotel Wedding Coordinator, the final number, at least seven working days prior to the
commencement of the wedding. These numbers will constitute the minimum charge. The Hotel will cater for an increase of up to
10% over final confirmed numbers and any difference shall be charged accordingly. No credit shall be allowed in the case where
actual numbers are less than the final confirmed numbers.
Food and Beverage
No food (apart from your wedding cake) or beverage of any kind will be permitted to be brought into or removed from the Hotel by
the Client or any of the Client’s guests or invitees without prior approval from Management.
As the Hotel regularly updates menus and wine lists according to seasonality and availability, the Hotel at its sole discretion reserves
the right to substitute items of food and beverage with like product where necessary.
Venue Changes
When a wedding venue or accommodation room cannot be made available to the Client for causes beyond the control of the Hotel,
the Hotel reserves the right to substitute similar or comparable wedding venue and/or accommodation for the wedding but must give
the Client prior notification of the change.
Prices
Prices contained within quotations are binding on the Hotel upon receipt of the deposit required.
Payment
A $ 500.00 non-refundable deposit is payable upon confirmation of your booking. The balance for all items ordered (wedding
package, beverages and any optional extras) is payable in full at least seven working days prior to the wedding.
Accommodation
When accommodation is required, tentative group bookings will be accepted. A guaranteed booking is established upon receipt of
the specified non-refundable deposit. The number of rooms required must be confirmed ten working days prior to arrival. This will be
the minimum number of rooms that will be charged. A charge equal to one night’s tariff quoted will be charged for each
accommodation “No-Show”. A guest rooming list and charging details must be provided to the Hotel ten working days prior to the
arrival in the Hotel.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be notified to the Hotel in writing. If the Hotel receives notice of cancellation less than twenty working days
prior to the wedding, the Client shall forfeit all monies paid. In any event, any deposit paid is non-refundable regardless of when the
cancellation notice is received.
