With over 500 tonnes of inventory in stock available from our
40,000 sq/ft warehouse in Bolton there isn’t much Steel Dynamics
can’t offer. We supply a variety of alloys, including grades S275,
S355, 304, 316, 31803, 32750, 32760 and UNS31254 6 moly as well
as nickel alloys, aluminium, copper and brass. Our typical stock
range is from 0.50mm thick though to 150mm thick plate.
Steel Dynamics boasts the largest laser cutting area of any metal service
centre with the ability to cut 8000mm x 2500mm x 25mm thick. Our typical
delivery times are 3-4 days on all processes but we also have a history of
managing complex materials management projects to a wide range of
industries. All laser cutting (both Co2 and fiber), waterjet cutting, plasma
and hi definition plasma cutting services are available in house.
All our material is of European origin and certified to exacting standards such as Norsok and Shell
specifications. Not only do we stock standard thickness material we have also invested in some
non standard thicknesses such as 18mm, 22mm, 28mm and 32mm. These give our customers
the ability to machine less whilst also paying less for the material itself, a true win win, and
enables us to stay ahead of our competition.
