Our sixth event, GlobalHack VI will bring together 2,500 developers, UI/UX designers, and
technologists to St. Louis for a weekend-long software competition. Teams of 2 to 8 people
spanning across youth, college, and professional divisions will work around the clock to build
innovative software solutions that solve real-world problems, while competing for a grand
total of $1 million in cash prizes, one of the largest pools of cash awards for a hackathon, ever.
WHAT IS GLOBALHACK?
GlobalHack is building a better tech
ecosystem through hackathons (software
competitions). Our events bring together
developers, designers, and entrepreneurs
to solve real-world, civic-minded problems.
WHAT IS A HACKATHON?
A hackathon is an event in which computer
programmers and others involved in
software development, including graphic
designers, interface designers and project
managers, collaborate on software projects.
WHY SHOULD I SPONSOR GLOBALHACK VI?
Sponsoring a hackathon is a great way to get access to the top IT and technical talent.
Hackathons are quickly replacing career fairs and other traditional methods of recruiting
and marketing. The next generation of software engineers and entrepreneurs are coming to
hackathons to have fun, compete for prizes, and learn new skills.
