THE RIGHT MATTRESS FOR YOU
Your weight & height
Look for the square that corresponds to your weight and
height. Follow the arrows to find the firmness and mattresses
you can start to try out. If you share a mattress with a partner,
use the weight of whichever one of you is lighter.
or have broad shoulders and hips, test mattresses that are
divided into different ‘comfort zones’. While your shoulders and
hips can sink deep into the mattress, your back and head will
get the support needed for a comfy night’s sleep. If you sleep
on your stomach, try a firmer mattress that will support your
belly and keep your spine from sinking. If you sleep on your
back, a mattress that supports the neck and lower back is the
best option.
Too warm or too cold?
If you get too warm while sleeping, spring and latex mattresses are a good choice because they have good air circulation.
And mattresses made with natural materials (N) absorb and
draw away moisture. Choose a foam mattresses if you get
chilly at night. Because they don’t let air circulate as much,
especially when they’re made with natural materials, you’ll
stay warm and cosy all night long.
Foam, latex or spring?
Spring mattresses distribute your weight evenly, so there’s no
extra pressure on any one part of your body. You can get the
comfort level that’s right for you with a mattress pad.
Foam and latex mattresses provide firm support by moulding to the shape of your body, but are soft and resilient at the
same time. Because there’s no extra pressure on any part of
your body, they improve blood circulation and help you fully
relax. They absorb the shock of movement, making them a
great choice if you have a partner that tosses and turns at
night.
How do you sleep?
For a good night’s sleep, it’s important to find a mattress that
supports your spine’s natural shape. A lot of this depends

SLATTED BED BASES
Combined with a bed frame, slatted bed-bases can be used as a base for SULTAN spring, foam and latex mattresses. They help your mattress last longer and stay
comfortable by absorbing most of the stress and weight placed on your bed. You can adjust the slats in some bases to be more or less firm, and some can be adjusted
at the foot and head, allowing you to sit up and read or watch television or keep your legs elevated.
