Heavy Duty Cycle With Disinfection Lock/Unlock Door – Indicator will notify user if the door is locked. Heavily soiled instruments and cassettes. User/Technician Menu – Access unit information and menus to change unit settings. Pull out the empty solution container and rotate backwards into the upright position (with the connector at the top). Disconnect the cleaning solution connector by unscrewing counter-clockwise (picture 2). Remove and dispose of/recycle the empty container as appropriate and in accordance with local guidelines. If appropriate, remove any dried chemical by immersing the connector in a cup of water. Place the new container of solution on the solution door (picture 3). Remove the tear-off portion of the outer carton. (picture 4). Cleaning the Chamber 13. 14. Pull out the internal chemical bag nozzle and secure it in the cutout (picture 5a). Remove the cap. Connect the cleaning solution connector to the new solution container by screwing clockwise until it stops rotating (picture 5b). Caution – avoid cross threading the connector as damage may occur and the joint may leak. Insert the new solution container by rotating forwards into the correct location in the solution door (picture 6). Close the cleaning solution door. Press OK on the touch screen. The machine display will indicate “Priming. Please wait”. When the cycle selection menu appears, priming is complete and the machine is ready for use. Proceed with the next cycle. Refilling the Water Softener salt reservoir Every 25 cycles, you will be reminded to run a cleaning cycle. Pour 1.0L of vinegar or citric acid into the chamber and follow these steps: When the error message “salt level low” or the water softener/detergent icon indicated by a red X appears, the salt reservoir is in need of filling. To fill the salt reservoir proceed as follows: 1. Unscrew the salt container lid. salt container Cleaning 2. F ill the salt container to the top (maximum 1 kg / 2.2 lbs.) 3. Screw the salt container lid on tightly. 4. Run a complete cycle, with no instruments. Important notes: Failure to clean the chamber can promote corrosion. If the salt container is being filled for the first time, it MUST be filled with at least 1 litre of water before adding the salt. nly tablet salt should be used in the softening unit.
