County Road 150 South (Oriole Way) - Enter Door 33 for Weigh-ins.
Prior qualification is required to participate in the Freestyle State Finals- Indiana residents only!
All participants must compete in a minimum of 2 Local level Freestyle tournaments in order to compete at the State
event.
USA Wrestling Competitor’s Card
A 2016-2017 USAW Competitor’s card is required for all Pee-wee thru Junior wrestlers to participate in this event. Please
purchase your card at www.usawmembership.com prior to the event. An Open License is required for all Senior and Veteran
wrestlers (born before 9/1/1997). This can also be purchased through USA Wrestling at the above website.
Pre-Registration: $35.00 (one style) - $60.00 (both styles)….credit card/debit card Only!
All wrestlers who plan to participate in both Freestyle & Greco, must pre-register and pay online in order to receive the discounted
price. All others are strongly encouraged to pre-register and pay online for each event at: www.trackwrestling.com or be charged
double the entry fee. PRE-REGISTRATION FOR BOTH EVENTS WILL CLOSE ON THURSDAY, May 4th AT 9:59 PM
(Eastern Daylight Savings Time). NO EXCEPTIONS!
Walk-ins:$70.00 per style (Cash Only)
Walk-ins will be permitted at weigh-ins. However, the cost for walk-ins is $70.00 per style (double the entry fee of those who
pre-register).
Weigh-ins
On-site weigh-ins only! Wrestlers competing in both Freestyle and Greco can weigh-in one time for both styles!
Weigh-in times are as follows (EST):
Friday, May 5th
6:30 – 9:00 pm Pee-Wee - Veteran
Sunday, May 7th
7:00 – 7:30 am Greco Only Wrestlers – All Divisions
Sunday, May 7th
7:30 – 8:00 am Girl’s – All Divisions
Girl’s participating in both FS on Saturday & Girl’s FS on Sunday may weigh-in on Friday night for both events.
Upon arrival, wrestlers will proceed directly to skin checks and weigh-ins. All weigh-ins will consist of (1) weigh-in and (1)
immediate challenge. Wrestlers will not be allowed to leave the weigh-in area. All athletes must weigh-in wearing a
competition singlet.
Saturday Wrestling Schedule -Freestyle
Wrestlers must report, ready to wrestle, at the following times (EST):
Saturday: 8:00 am
Pee-Wee – Bantam – Cadet
Saturday 11:30 am
Schoolboy – Junior – Senior – Veteran
Saturday: 2:30 pm
Intermediate – Novice
Sunday Wrestling Schedule – Greco-Roman & Girl’s Freestyle
Wrestlers must report, ready to wrestle, at the following times (EST):
Sunday: 9:00 am
Bantam – Intermediate – Novice – Cadet
Sunday: 11:00 am
All Girl’s Divisions
Sunday: 12:00 pm
Schoolboy – Junior – Senior – Veteran
Both Freestyle and Greco will finish in one day. Cadets (who are in high school) will be allowed to wrestle in both the Cadet and
Junior competition, for both Greco and Freestyle, provided they pre-register and pay the additional entry fee.
All Event Spectator Fee: Adults- $10.00 – Seniors (65 & Older)-$5.00
Children 10 & under and Coaches holding a 2016-2017 USA Wrestling Coaches membership will be admitted free.
Skin Checks
Certified Athletic Trainers will be conducting SKIN CHECKS on all wrestlers during weigh-ins. (For details go to: iswa.com
and select Tournament/Sports Medicine from the top menu to find details on Skin Checks and a Physician’s Release for
Wrestlers.)

Custom Awards
Freestyle- Champions will receive a custom ISWA singlet curtosy of 3X Gear, place winners 2nd-8th will receive custom
awards. In addition, all 1st place finishers will receive a Championship T-Shirt.
Greco- Top 8 place winners will receive custom awards. In addition, all 1st place finishers will receive a Championship T-Shirt.
Placement Matches
Placement matches will be wrestled with a formal award presentation for each weight class at the conclusion of the placement
matches.
Pairing
Line Bracketing will be used. (Due to qualification for the USA Wrestling Schoolboy Dual teams, wrestlebacks, for a true
second, will be held for the for the Schoolboy/girl age division only.)
Separation Criteria
Style Specific…..Freestyle & Greco State place winners ONLY!---1 through 4 within the past 2 years---will still be separated.
Note: Wrestlers will be required to indicate their placement, in the dropdown menu provided, when they pre-register for each
state event at trackwrestling.com
Team Competition
Team competition is limited to 2016-2017 ISWA member clubs only! Small, Medium, Large and Academy Divisions Custom
Plaques will be presented to the 1st – 2nd and 3rd place team in the club division—Academy (Academies as defined by the ISWA
Board of Directors) - 1st Place Only - Teams must consist of 8 or more wrestlers in order to be considered for team competition.
Team points will be calculated using trackwrestling. Wrestlers must select their team from the club dropdown menu when
registering on trackwrestling. No changes will be made at the tournament. Points will be awarded for both advancement and
placement. Any team working a scoring table throughout the event will be awarded 12 points towards their total (Please see
guidelines for table workers).
Coaches Pass
Coaches wrist band required. Coaches wrist bands will only be issued to coaches who hold a USA Wrestling Coaches Card
and are a minimum USAW/ NCEP Copper certified coach. All coaches must report to a designated site and produce
either their USA Wrestling Coaches Card, Copper or Bronze Coaches Card and picture ID. You will be fitted with a wrist
band at that time. Do not take it off. You will be issued only one wrist band.
Coaches – Be prepared to pick up your pass at the following times (EST):
Friday: 6:30 - 9:00 pm & to all clinic attendees
Saturday: 7:00 - 9:00 am 10:30 - 12:00 pm
1:30 - 3:00 pm
Sunday: 7:30 - 9:00 am
11:00 - 12:00 pm
The ISWA State Finals serves as a qualifier for the following events:
USA Wrestling Schoolboy National Dual Championships - The top 2 Schoolboys in each style and weight class will be
guaranteed a spot on the schoolboy teams.
USA Wrestling National Cadet Dual Championships - The top wrestler in each style and weight class will be
guaranteed a spot on the national team.
USA Wrestling National Junior Dual Championships- The Junior National team will be selected by a selection
committee.
USA Wrestling Cadet & Junior National Championships - The top 3 Cadets and Juniors in each style and weight
class will be guaranteed a spot on the national team.
Detailed information on “Team Indiana” trips will be distributed to all who qualify.
