Sue: I’m Sue and I’m one of the people
who cooks the school meals at Sutton High
School. It’s a great job. I love cooking. I like
making different meals every day. We always
make four different meals for the children
to choose from. And we always try to cook
food that the children like. We cook a lot
of vegetables, and there is always one meal
with meat and one with fish every day. We
don’t give the children things like burgers
because we want the children at Sutton High
to eat food that’s good for them. One of the
favourite meals here is a big plate of meat and
vegetables. But there are always sandwiches
for children who aren’t very hungry. The
children at Sutton High love coming into the
dining room for their lunch!

Mike: No, not really. I want them to be smart
though so I can wear them to school as well
as for sport.
Shop Assisant: Well, ok. This pair are £49.99.
They’re Adidas and we’ve got them in green,
blue and white. They’re a good general
trainer. Very popular this year, actually. We’ve
also got this pair which are also Adidas.
They’re £55.00. I think they’re very smart.
They’re more expensive but very popular and
we’ve got them in yellow, red and blue.
Mike: Umh, ok, thanks. Can I also try those
red and white Nike ones? They’re smart.

Nike ones. Yes. I want them. Thank you very

versus The Blues. And look at that kick!
Bingham is running up the field already and
… yes, he’s kicking the ball to Blake and
Blake’s running and he’s running and … it’s
a goal! Amazing – in the first two seconds
of the match – a goal for The Reds!!!!! Now
the other players are waiting for the ball
… and Gregory is chasing the ball … and
he’s kicking it to Martin. But look, Blake is

The referee is blowing his whistle and …
