Selecting Label Format and Creating
Commonly Used Styles
PAN-MARK for Windows Labeling Software includes
easy-to-use label formats to customize your PANDUIT ®
ULTIMATE ID labels. Follow these steps in order to create your own legends on Panduit
UILJ labels.
1. Once PAN-MARK has been launched, close any open files.
2. From the Menu bar select Format then Select.
3. Scroll through the list of label formats until you find the
UILJ label format you will be creating.
4. Highlight the label format, and choose Copy to make the
format available in your list of most commonly used
label formats.
5. Choose OK.
6. Choose File / New.
7. From the Most Commonly Used Formats drop down
menu, select the appropriate label part number.

1. To create a serialization select the Series Item Icon,
,
drop and drag open a box in the label design area.
The Series Properties dialog box will appear.
2. Enter your start and stop values. If needed, also specify
the increment units (Step Value) and the number of
copies needed.
3. If your series will include static (constant) data, enter this
information in the text box indicated here.

4. When all of your data is entered, choose Create.
5. To center your legend on your label, click on the text so
that there is a box around the legend and use the Center
Vertically and/or Center Horizontally icons.
You are now ready to create legends with
PAN-MARK software. For additional information refer to
your PAN-MARK users instructions.

1. There is a ruler image just above the label design area.
To create legends for two ports, you will position your
legends centered over each 1/2 of the label design area.

7. For the second and third serializations, select the Series

label where applicable.

3. Use the drop down menu under Image File / Name.
