The 29th Annual Down Home Festival offers Bessemer City residents and visitors
a chance to enjoy two days of Festival
Fun in downtown Bessemer City!
A beer garden will be hosted on both
Friday and Saturday during the festival. Proceeds from the beer garden
go to support the local Back-Pack
Program.

special entertainment on Pennsylvania
Avenue from 6:00PM to 10:00PM. Music,
rides, and food will be available!
Saturday, May 13th
Saturday, May 13th, DHF 2017 will feature activities and fun for everyone from
the hours of 12:00PM to 10:00PM. Vendors will offer items for sale, crafts,
games, and face paintings. Vendors will
be selling everything from jewelry, wood
crafts, local art, candles, artisan items,
and much more! Saturday will also feature special entertainment, music, and
your favorite festival foods. The evening
ends on Saturday with a special fireworks
show brought to you by Piedmont Paving.

Circus Stella (brought to you by FMC) is a
one ring family circus featuring rope walking, ladder balancing, juggling, static trapeze, aerial silk, stilt walking, and acrobatics!
Circus Stella also features performing
rescued dogs. All of the dogs used in
performance are the beloved pets of Dextre & Jana, owners of Circus Stella. They
are mixed breed dogs rescued from animal shelters across the country. They
serve as ambassadors of shelter dogs
everywhere as Circus Stella promotes the
adoption of rescue dogs, and attempts to
educate the public on the many benefits
of choosing a dog from a shelter.
