Synonym and antonym bingo
Instructions:
 Print and laminate the bingo boards.
 Give six counters and a bingo board to each child or pair of children.
 Call out a word from the synonym board. If the children have a synonym for that word, they may cover it with a
counter.
 The winner is the first child/pair to have a line of three. Alternatively, the winner is the first child/pair to get a full house.
Alternative versions:
 Repeat the game, but this time calling out antonyms rather than synonyms. Children have to cover words which have the
opposite meaning.
 Call out a mixture of synonyms and antonyms during the game.
