Ten metres to the south is a single karaka. Midden consisting of shell, charcoal and hangi stones. It is 3m long and 5cm deep. Shell midden containing fragmented freshwater mussel. Midden scatter is spread over c.8m (W-‐ E). Fire cracked rocks -‐ area of charcoal rich topsoil spread over a distance of 3m with fire cracked rocks. Shell midden in brown topsoil layer.
