What should I bring to my Overnight Adventure?
 Sleeping bag
 Sleeping mat/pad (no air mattress or
cots permitted)
 Clothing (pajamas, sweatshirt, slippers,
etc.)
 Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.)



Cameras with batteries
Money for the gift shop
Comfortable shoes (you will be on your
feet a lot for tours)
What should I leave at home?
 Flashlights (safety flashlights are provided)
 Food and drinks
 Items of value (jewelry, iPods, etc.)
 Air mattresses or cots
Can I host a private overnight?
You certainly can! We host private overnights for groups of 20 or more on Monday and Tuesday
evenings and groups of 50 or more any other day of the week. Dates are first come first served and
based off of availability. If your group is not large enough to host a private overnight, we recommend
you joining one of our open overnights throughout the year where there is no minimum when booking!
What is the cost?
The cost is $49/camper and $40/annual pass holder. All prices and terms are subject to change without
notice.
Where do I sleep?
You will sleep in ether Shark Ray Bay Theater, Jellyfish Gallery, Shark Tunnel or Coral Tunnel. Sleeping
locations will be expanded as needed.
What activities are included in my Overnight Adventure?
During the evening, you will be captivated, education and entertained by all of the activities! Your
evening will include the following:
 Backstage Animal Experiences
 Surrounded by Sharks or Penguin
presentation
 Animal Encounters
 Snack in the evening
 Tank feeding
 Breakfast in the morning
 Guided tours
 15% discount in the Newport Aquarium gift shop in the morning
What do I need to do in order to reserve my spot?
In order to reserve a spot in one of our open overnights or a private date, we need a registration form
filled out with a non-refundable 25% deposit. Final payment and final guest count is due 30 days prior to
the event.
What time does it start and what time does it end?
The overnight starts with check-in at 7:30pm and ends the following morning at 9:00am. Bedtime is
normally around 12:00am.
Where do I park?
Overnight Adventure Program Guests will park in the Newport on the Levee Parking Garage. We
recommend parking on “Street Level”. You will take the elevator up to level 1 “Riverwalk” and head to
your left for the Newport Aquarium Main Entrance. There is a 7ft clearance for the parking Garage.
BE SURE TO BRING YOUR PARKING TICKET WITH YOU TO THE AQUARIUM. WE WILL VALIDATE YOUR
TICKET AT THE OVERNIGHT.
What do I do if the Newport on the Levee Parking Garage is full?
Follow signs to their overflow lot (325 Columbia St.). Feel free to call the Overnight Supervisor at 513476-9122 if you need any help.
 Make a U turn and turn right onto Dave Cowens Dr.
 Turn right at the light onto 3rd St.
 Past Brio, be in the left hand lane and veer left at the fork (continue on 3rd St.)
 Turn Left onto Columbia St. The Parking lot will be on your Right. You must park in the Back
Row but do not need a ticket to put in your window. There will be a shuttle to bring you to
the Levee.
Is dinner provided?
We provide a snack in the evening and a light breakfast in the morning, so we do recommend you eating
dinner prior to check-in at 7:30pm.
Is there an age requirement?
We do recommend that all participants are at least 6 years old. There is no maximum age limit, so adults
and parents are welcome to join!
What is the cancelation policy?
A non-refundable 25% deposit is due at the time your reservation is made. Newport Aquarium reserves
the right to cancel the event at any time. If your event is canceled, you will be informed by phone as
soon as possible and a full refund will be made within 30 days. No refunds will be issued unless the
Newport Aquarium cancels the program. Any group that does not show up for their event will be billed
for the full cost of the event.
Are adults allowed to stay with their children?
We recommend all groups have at least one adult with them during any of our overnights.
