1. The Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt has received a grant from the African Development
Bank (acting as administrator for the Korea-Africa Economic Cooperation Trust Fund) and intends to
apply part of the agreed amount for this grant to payments under the contract for "External Auditor”
2. The required services included under this project are: (i) to express professional opinion whether the
Project Financial Statements shows true and fair presentation of the Project’s financial position; (ii)
to express an opinion on Statements of Expenditures; (iii) to state whether the Procurement
Guidelines of the African Development Bank have been properly applied and in accordance with the
Project's Grant Agreement.
3. The PMU of the VICMED Project invites consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the
services. Interested firms must provide a statement of capability and experience indicating that they
are qualified to perform the services description of similar assignments and experiences, availability
of appropriate skills among staff, etc.).
4. A short list of six consulting firms will be compiled in accordance with the procedures set out in the
African Development Bank’s Rules and Procedures for the Use of Consultants, dated May 2008 and
revised July 2012, using Consultants' Qualifications (CQS) which is available on the Bank’s website at
http://www.afdb.org.

6. The deadline for receiving companies ‘ response is on 31st October 2016 in a written form clearly
