Broadcasting Company and the Brewmill to align offerings with local
efforts as part of the College’s expanded offerings in the hospitality
curriculum. Not only does the coursework open doors with an entrepreneurial track, but it offers value added certificates that will enhance the

development, sanitation and craft beer brewing techniques while utilizing equipment to produce small batches of craft beer.
Classes in the degree program include: Fermentation Production, Safety and Sanitation, Survey of Fermented Products, Craft Beer Brewing,

Bylaws are a legal document outlining the self-imposed rules that will regulate

corporation and its owners to conduct itself in a certain manner. In the past,
organizations often had bylaws but today those bylaws are usually insufficient.
This seminar will offer participant’s knowledge on: 10 Most Common Nonprofit
Bylaw Pitfalls and How to Avoid the Traps and Required provisions normally
included in Nonprofit Bylaws

T
1 pm – 4 pm
CE 8255
Developing a strategic plan is like planning a journey and all experts agree
that this is the primary function of the board of directors for a nonprofit or a
business owner. Strategic planning, like a journey, include issues like: Why
are we traveling? Where do we want to end up? Checking to condition of our
car; major stops we want to see along the way; major routes we want to take:
Who will drive each route? How much money will we need to spend? What if
some of the roads are under construction and we have to make a detour?
These and other details will need to be dealt with if a Nonprofit or business
wants to reach its full potential.
