JALLIANWALA BAGH – AMRITSAR MASSACRE
IIS, Sitapura observed 13th April 2017 as “Jallianwala Bagh Massacre” –
the grief day. The students enlightened the gathering about the Amritsar
massacre that took place in the public garden in 1919. The children paid
tribute to the martyrs of the nation who sacrificed their lives. The assembly
ended with a patriotic song and recitation of self composed poem by Pakhi
Kayal of grade 8 provoking patriotism in one and all present there.
