Learn in a small group environment with other up-and-coming leaders in the non-profit sector. LEAP (Leadership Excellence Advancement Program) is a leadership development program for the non-profit sector that contains relevant and up-to-date information to better prepare existing and up-and-coming leaders in a variety of management areas. Registration for the 2016-2017 LEAP year opens on June 14, 2016. LEAP consists of eight session that have been designed to meet the changing needs of the non-profit sector. Sessions include: • Employee Accountability • Legislation Impacting the Employment Relationship • Governance • Public and Government Relations • How Managers Communicate and Lead • Recruitment and Retention • Fostering an Effective Team • Employee/Labour Relations Basics Registering for LEAP is easy! To register for the full program: Learners must pre-register and attend all eight sessions (offered both in Saskatoon and Regina). You can register for the program by filling out the attached registration form or register online at sarclearningcentral.ca. Registration deadline is August 15, 2016. To register for individual sessions: Learners also have the option of registering for individual LEAP sessions, however; space is limited. If session capacity is reached, you will be placed on a waitlist and notified if space becomes available. Once all eight LEAP sessions have been completed, the individual is considered a LEAP Graduate and will receive 10% off future in-person SARC training events (some limitations apply).
