CERTIFICATE IN DIGITAL MEDIA (ONLINE) PART TIME, 25 WEEKS, LEVEL 3, NZQA APPROVED FULL TIME, 15 WEEKS, LEVEL 3, NZQA APPROVED The Certificate in Digital Media is an exciting opportunity to explore digital design. It’s where your creativity meets digital technology. Using digital still and video cameras and computers, you’ll produce a wide range of original art that combines traditional and digital media. You’ll also learn digital illustration techniques and how to create images and pages suitable for web publication, how to capture and edit video, and how to create and animate 2D and 3D objects. This work is complemented with a wide range of art and creative practices to further enhance your skills base. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS There are no restrictions to entry. An interest in design and basic computer skills are all you need. If English is not your first language an IELTS 5.5 Academic (no subtests lower than 5.0) or equivalent is required. You can also sit for a free Yoobee Online English Placement Test as an alternative proof of English level. FURTHER LEARNING The Certificate in Digital Media is an excellent pathway into Yoobee’s Diploma of Computer Graphic Design, Diploma of Animation and Digital Video, or Diploma of Web Development.
