Sigma Crepe Paper
We offer crepe paper in both Calendared and Uncalendared varieties of the required quality specifications
for electrical insulation purposes and are manufactured from electrical Kraft base paper conforming to IEC
60554-3-5. The Insulation kraft base paper is manufactured from electric grade long fiber, unbleached
sulfate kraft pulp which is totally free from size, fillers & conductive particles. The Crepe Paper confirms to
IEC 60554-3-3. Crepe paper is available in coarse & fine crepe varieties. Crepe paper is used as insulation
in distribution, power and instrument transformers. We offer these materials in natural color. The Crepe
paper is available in the form of rolls, pads & flexible tubes.
Sigma Crepe Paper in Roll Form
The Crepe paper in roll form is available in base paper thickness of 0.050, 0.075, & 0.125mm with
elongation as per customer requirement from 30 - 100%. The standard width of rolls is 500, 750 & 1500mm
with a tolerance of ± 5mm and standard roll diameter of 400mm. Rolls are supplied with a core i.d. of
76mm.
Sigma Crepe Pads
The Crepe paper is slitted into pads is available in base paper thickness of 0.050, 0.075, & 0.125mm with
elongation as per customer requirement from 30 – 100%. The width of pad varies from 15 to 50mm with a
tolerance of ± 1mm and pad diameter up to 250mm max & is supplied with a core i.d. of 50mm.
Sigma Crepe Tube
Crepe paper is available in flexible tube form in a number of different internal diameters and wall
thicknesses as per customer requirement. Standard tube length is 1000, 1200, 1800 & 2000mm.

1. 1st Digit is thickness of base paper in mil.
2.Suffix'N' is Normal Density Paper
3. 3rd & 4th digits multiply by 10 to obtain % elongation.
4. Suffix 'UC' is Un Calendared in unstretched condition.
5.Elongation value will within ± 15%.
6. Crepe can be made in any elongation desired from 30% 100%.
7. Thickness- caliper of un calendared crepe is not controlled.
