their selected answer. A calculator may be used with this assessment.
Description
This assessment was designed to measure student pre-knowledge of the essential skills
and knowledge identified above. Our recommendation is that this assessment not be used
as a tool for reporting student mastery for parents, but could be used in conjunction with
the post assessment as a source of data that can be discussed in grade-level data teams or
with math coaches.
