European Knee Society (EKS)
About EKS
The EKS was created in 2014 in order to group European key
opinion leaders in the field of the degenerative knee and knee
arthroplasty. Over 60 knee experts in Europe have in the meantime
joined this new society, with the aim to strengthen and consolidate
the European knowledge and expertise in this domain.
The main goals of EKS are:
 to advance knowledge of degenerative knee pathology and
knee arthroplasty.
 to provide an appropriate educational setting that maintains
the highest level of professional standards in order to promote
continuous advancements in professional knowledge and
improved treatment of degenerative disorders of the knee and
knee arthroplasty.
 to create an optimum environment to enhance education,
research and treatment of degenerative knee pathology and
arthroplasty.
 to promote and maintain professional standards to provide the
best care to patients with degenerative pathology of the knee
joint and arthroplasty of the knee.

The course language is English.
Certification
The certification at the Berlin Chamber of Physicians (Berliner Ärztekammer) is submitted.

All fees are stated in EUR, incl. VAT. We recommend payment by
credit card (international bank accounts only) or debit order (german
bank accounts only). The following credit cards are accepted:
American Express, Eurocard/MasterCard, Visa. The transmission of
your data in the internet is securely encrypted.
Confirmation
Upon receipt of full payment of the fees, a confirmation letter will be
sent by e-mail.
Cancellation Policy
In case of cancellation of participation by January 25, 2016,
registration fees will be refunded. However, a handling fee of
€ 20 per person will apply. After that date, registration fees are
non-refundable. Name changes entail a handling fee of € 10 per
registration. In case of no-show or early departure, a refund of
registration fees is not possible. The organizers will only accept
refund requests in writing. Should you have any special requests
for the processing of your invoice, please specify them when filling
out your registration form. The re-issuing of an invoice entails a € 10
handling fee. Prices of sub-contractors are based on the current
tariffs and VAT rate. All prices and details beyond our control are
subject to change.
