New and Improved Chocolate Smoothie
3 ½ -4 cups water
¼ - 1/2 c raw cacao
5-6 handfuls spinach
2-3 bananas
1-2 dates or 1 tbsp agave nectar (optional)
2 tbls hemp seed (optional)
Place all ingredients in blender and process until smooth.
For a non-caffeinated smoothie, substitute carob for the cacao. Carob has a sweeter taste so
adjust recipe accordingly.
