Adding Jumbled Sentence Questions Jumbled Sentence Questions require a student to complete a sentence, choosing words from a drop down list. 1. From your test canvas, hover over Create Question and select Jumbled Sentence from the drop down menu. The Create/Edit Jumbled Sentence Question page opens. 2. Enter the REQUIRED question text. Use letters or numbers (variables) with square brackets around them to mark where the choices will appear in the text. See the screenshot below for an example. 3. Check whether you want to give partial credit. 4. Populate the answer boxes with your answer pool. You can define up to 20 answers to choose from for every question. 5. Click Next. Your question will appear with drop down menus for every bracketed variable you specified. 6. Select the correct answers from the drop-­‐downs. 7. Provide feedback, categories, keywords and notes if desired. 1. Click Submit. Your Test Canvas page will open showing your added question. You can change the point value by clicking into the Point Value box to the right of the questions The following box opens. 2. After you have made your changes click the Submit button.
