Write two essays (newspaper articles) that report on these two battles. The article in the Battle
of Fredericksburg should be one that would have been written for the Richmond Times. The
article on the Battle of Gettysburg should be one that was written in the Philadelphia Inquirer.
The articles should describe where the battles took place, when they took place, who the
generals were, and what the events were and what the final result of the battle was. The
articles should be hand-written and be between ½ to ¾ page in length.
