Double click: “RMM 3.1 AgentSetup.exe” to install RMM Agent program.
Start Installation
Read End User License Agreement

Server Settings - Set Remote Management Server URL/IP.

A. SLL Settings – Enable or Disable SSL

A. VNC Setting – Set as Default RMM Built-in VNC.

B. VNC Setting –Use other User-defined VNC server.
Input VNC server password and port number

C. VNC Setting –Disable RMM Built-in VNC and use other third party KVM tool.

Start Installing.

 Start to uninstall “RMM Agent”
 Click “Remove”.

1.2.1. Installation
 Untar the “RMM Agent” installer to “Wrapped” folder
 Change directory to “Wrapped” folder and execute the installer with uperuser
permissions

Enter the setup mode by clicking y
Complete the configuration step by step

 Change directory to ‘/usr/local/AgentService’, and execute ‘uninstall.sh’ with superuser
permissions

2.1 Windows Server Installation
2.1.1 Installation
Double click “RMM 3.1 ServerSetup.exe” to execute the installation program of RMM
3.1 Server.
 Start Program




Check End User License Agreement

Choose Installation Folder

Tomcat Server Attributes
Set the “HTTP Port Number” of Tomcat

PostgreSQL Server Setting
Set access password for Server Database (PostgreSQL)

MongoDB Server Setting
Set maximum cache size and access password for Server Database (MongoDB)


MQTT SSL Setting
Enable or disable SSL for MQTT

A. Restore RMM Database for PostgreSQL
– Create a new database.

B. Restore RMM Database for PostgreSQL
– Restore to an old backup database.


B. Restore RMM Database for MongoDB

Login Information
Set the password for the initial System Administrator (First Login)

Start Installing.

Double click the “RMM 3.1” shortcut
to start up the RMM Client (Browser link).

 Choose Setup Type
Click “Remove” to uninstall RMM System
