Plumbing Regulations Sunset Review: Plumbing Regulations 2008

Plumbing Regulations Sunset Review:
Plumbing Regulations 2008
Stakeholder submission template
To enable Victoria to continue to have effective plumbing regulations, the Victorian Government is undertaking a
review of the Plumbing Regulations 2008 (the Regulations) prior to their expiry in November 2018.
The Regulations provide detailed requirements in relation to plumbing work, plumbing practitioners, and the
administration of plumbing work.
The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) is seeking feedback from stakeholders and
the community on the operation of the current plumbing regulations prior to the preparation of new regulations and
a Regulatory Impact Statement for consultation next year.
This work will be undertaken with the support of Victoria’s plumbing regulator, the Victorian Building Authority, who
will assist with targeted engagement with stakeholders as well as providing input as the regulator.
If you would like to comment on the current regulations, please complete the template and upload your submission
at engage.vic.gov.au/plumbing-regulations-sunset-review or email your submission to:
[email protected].
Alternatively, hard copy submissions can be sent to the following postal address:
