The Nisku Recreation Centre (NRC) is designed for the businesses and
residents that call Nisku home. With a convenient location in the heart of
the Nisku Industrial Business Park, this dynamic facility offers a variety of
services to meet your organizational and personal needs.
The NRC is located in the heart of the Nisku Industrial Business Park on 11
acres of land. The grounds include a banquet hall, a park, baseball diamonds
and a forested area with running/walking trails.
The NRC offers a great space to host training sessions, workshops, meetings
and a variety of other events for groups of up to 250 people. All functions
are complemented by a quality breakfast menu and daily lunch buffet. In
addition to our venue space and buffet, the fitness facility is a cost-effective
way to encourage a healthy lifestyle for residents, employees and
business owners.
The modern interior and picturesque outdoor areas surrounding the Nisku
Recreation Centre will serve as the perfect backdrop on your wedding day
while our staff will ensure your vision is made a reality.
Fitness Facility
The Nisku Recreation Centre’s fitness facility features a spacious weight training area and
a cardio room, equipped with treadmills, an elliptical, stair-steppers and stationary bikes.
Fitness facility users are also permitted access to the squash court and/or two racquetball/
wallyball courts. Reservations for these courts are advised.
The Nisku Recreation Centre’s fitness facility is accessible 24-hours per day with the
purchase of a key card ($5) or fob ($10).
Separate locker rooms are available for men and women.

The Nisku Recreation Centre’s restaurant offers a perfect
business atmosphere for lunch. The NRC has a catered
breakfast service that is ideal for morning meetings as
well as a daily lunch buffet that works for drop-in guests
and large groups.
The NRC’s fresh lunch buffet is designed for group
lunches and features a different themed buffet for each
day of the week. For those with a lighter appetite, the
soup and salad bar is a lunchtime favourite.
Staff at the NRC is experienced in preparing quality
dishes for small and large groups of people – if you

Banquet Facility and Corporate Opportunities

appreciation event or company party at our spacious venue. Our banquet
room hosts up to 250 people. The facility may also be separated into two
separate rooms with our large room holding up to 160 people and our
smaller room holding approximately 40 people. Our facility boasts an open
cedar ceiling, a wall of windows and new flooring that allows staff to set-up
the venue to meet your needs. In the summer, NRC grounds feature a patio
that creates the perfect location for team building retreats and
company barbecues.
The NRC is a dynamic facility with the ability to meet the needs of various

Meetings
With a convenient location in the Nisku Industrial Business Park, the NRC

daily, weekly or monthly meetings. The staff at the NRC are flexible, which
allows meetings to be planned to your exact specifications. The NRC
also offers projectors, screens, microphones and flip charts to make your
meetings the best they can be.
Corporate Training and Conferences
The NRC is the ideal training location for businesses in the Nisku Industrial
Business Park, Leduc and Edmonton. The venue is surrounded by
businesses that cater to oil industry training, which makes the NRC ideal for
classroom instruction and related educational workshops. Surrounded by
trees and wildlife, the NRC is also ideal for team building retreats, seminars,

Food Service
The Nisku Recreation Centre is fully insured and licensed to make your
function as seamless as possible. In-house catering provides customers
with a variety of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner functions.
Bartending staff are fully trained and ProServe certified so all areas of your
event are covered. NRC staff is always willing to work with event organizers
to build a menu that wows your employees and guests.
