The Verso tackles the job of being a MPV (multi-purpose
vehicle) with a sleek, energetic style that looks just as
good going to the game as going to the office – a true
multi-tasker, just like you.
All new Verso models feature a rear roof spoiler that,
although understated, enhances the aerodynamic
characteristics of the car when in motion. Colour
coded exterior finishes add to its sophisticated look,
while a long wheelbase within its compact body
and 16” alloy wheels** add to the Verso’s sporty edge.

Family time means “car time” - getting to those places
and moments that make for great memories. So the new
Verso is engineered and refined to make every moment
spent on the road more comfortable and relaxing.
Starting with the redesigned seats, offering thicker
cushioning and increased seat back shoulder length.
– In-dash 6-CD changer with MP3 functionality and
6-speaker audio system* with Bluetooth connectivity**
keep everyone entertained. You can also call the tune
by plugging your portable music player into the audio
jack (all models), and steering wheel mounted controls
keep you in charge.

From sports equipment to school bags to groceries to
luggage, it can be hard to travel light when you’re travelling
together. Happily, your Verso has room to spare.
Aviation table*

The Easy Flat-7 system means just that – it’s easy to fold
the seats down flat to create a long, completely flat load
area. The seats fold down easily without having to remove
the head restraints.
There’s even an under floor storage system which is
perfect for putting bulky things in their place without taking
up any legroom. For smaller bits and pieces, all front and
rear doors have pockets, as do both front seats.
The Verso also keeps valuables out of sight and out of
mind with a retractable tonneau cover that can be used
when the two seats in the third row are folded flat.

In the new Verso, safety is taken to a new level. Verso’s
world class passive and active safety features are
designed to protect you and your loved ones, while
design and engineering refinements offer improved
visibility and enhanced handling to minimise risk when
in motion.
Airbags
Seven airbags* are positioned around the cabin to
cushion driver and passengers in the event of an impact.
These include intelligent dual stage front airbags which
adjust deployment according to varying conditions. On
the passenger side, there’s a manual override switch for
child safety. There are also driver and front passenger
side airbags and a driver knee airbag, in addition to
curtain shield airbags* that extend to the third row of
seats. These reduce stress on the head and torso during
a strong side impact. An additional safety feature is a fuel
cut-off switch activated by the airbag sensors to reduce
fire risk.
More safety features
For the littlest passengers, ISO-FIX rear seat anchors with
top tethers keep baby seats securely in place. Further
protection comes in the form of 3-point safety belts
for all occupants, front seat belt pre-tensioners with
force limiters and seven headrests. The driver and front
passenger headrests feature a WIL (Whiplash Injury
Lessening) design that helps reduce neck injuries in
low speed rear end accidents.
Up to 7 airbags standard
Enhanced control
Retaining control is the essence of driving safety. All
Versos have an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS),
enhanced with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD)
and Brake Assist System (BAS) for better control.
Vehicle Stability Control (VSC)* can be activated at
the driver’s discretion, in order to minimise understeer
or oversteer (i.e. slipping at the front or rear) while
cornering by applying differential braking force to
individual wheels. Traction Control (TRC)* prevents wheel
spin when starting or accelerating on slippery or loose
surfaces. Hill-start Assist Control (HAC)* prevents
rolling back when engaging gear on an uphill.

efficiency, with minimal waste. Valvematic valve timing
control on the 1.6 and 1.8 VVT-i petrol engines and
precision Piezzo injectors on the 2.0 diesel engine boost
fuel efficiency and driving performance while reducing

All the Verso models are covered for defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 3 years up to 100 000km. A 3-year
corrosion perforation warranty is also standard.

Toyota Verso models feature a standard 5-year/90 000km ToyotaCare Service Plan that pays for all scheduled service items and

ToyotaCare Roadside Assistance Programme
Toyota’s Roadside Assistance Programme is applicable to all Verso models under warranty for a period of 3 years / 100 000km.
ToyotaCare Roadside Assistance entitles you to the following 24-hour emergency roadside assistance benefits: out of fuel assistance,
jump-start service and/or replacement of battery (if battery is still under 1 year guarantee), change of flat tyre, key lockout service,
towing of your vehicle to the nearest Toyota dealership in the event of a mechanical/electrical breakdown (should a roadside repair
not be possible) and a message relay service.

ToyotaCare Extended Warranty
For a small additional cost, this warranty extends all the benefits of the ToyotaCare Vehicle Warranty for a further 1 year up to

Space Saver Tyre
This vehicle is fitted with a space saver tyre. Please note that this is only for use in an emergency, please change this to a normal
standard tyre as soon as possible.
• Please do not use this tyre for other cars.
• Tyre air pressure should be 4.2 BAR, which is different from that of a normal tyre. Please check the air pressure occasionally to
make sure. Driving this car with insufficient tyre pressure may result in an accident.
• Please do not exceed the maximum driving speed limit of 80km/h. If your front tyre is punctured, please fit this space saver tyre
in the rear and fit the removed rear tyre in the front. This tyre has a smaller diameter than a normal tyre which will change vehicle
height, therefore please drive carefully.
• Please read through your owner’s manual carefully in advance for details on using your space saver tyre.
