Cornice Nr. 126 “Metropole” (Georgian in Style) One of our several “Georgian Drip” cornice moulding designs. Should you want a similar pattern, but slightly larger or smaller then please look at our Nr. 102 or 105 respectively - some similar others also exist. The defining feature of this cornice is the “drip” member toward the centre of the moulding. This entirely practical feature was designed in ancient Greek times to throw rainwater from the external face of buildings. Please do remember - seriously that, while I’ve correctly described this pattern as Georgian in style, this simply describes the style - this design can comfortably be installed into more modern buildings. Projection 110mm. (c.4.5”) Depth 80mm. (c.3.5”) Length of Cast 3000mm. (10’0”) Plain Run Section
