There will not be any formal activities on Saturday afternoon, 24 January and Sunday 25 January. You may consider exploring Johannesburg or nearby places of interest. The organisers will only provide limited assistance. Ask at Stay City for suggestions and talk to the ‘locals’ at the School to find out what may be of interest. On Wits Campus you may find interesting places to visit. More information at http://www.wits.ac.za/placesandspaces If you wish to sightsee the Hop-on Hop-off Red Bus is a good option. http://www.citysightseeing.co.za/joburg.php If you are interested in doing some game viewing, Graham from Graton Transfers is happy to plan a trip (Sunday 25 January) to the Pilanesberg Game Reserve or the Rhino & Lion Park on (Sunday 25 January). The former is a full day trip viewing wild animals in their natural environment, while the latter takes about 5 hours and allows people to view wild animals in a controlled situation. Costs will depend on the number of participants, but should be a maximum of R750 per person for the former and R500 for the latter. Please contact Graham on cell (mobile) number +27 82 451 3371 or email address is [email protected]. If there is interest to go shopping for the day, we may be able to organise transport to one location.
